"Ugh, shut up. You're so annoying." You rolled your eyes at Gojo before turning your attention back to your phone. You had started talking with one of Hikari's "friends" and your attention was focused on just that for the time being. So being with Gojo at the airport was really a disturbance.
"Someone's in a bad mood. I'll go get you a coffee." He responded as he stood up from the seat. You didn't even bother looking his way. You were so mad that you didn't find anything incriminating in your husband's phone. But you knew that something was off. You knew it deep within you and you wouldn't stop until you got your answers.
You had been texting this girl for the whole week, trying to befriend her before asking the big question. You were so engrossed with your phone that you failed to notice Gojo coming back with a coffee. He handed it to you, and you took it without thinking twice about it. You took a sip of the drink.
"It's my favorite, how did you know?" You asked, and he just shrugged as he took a sip of his own drink.
"I have my ways." He responded. He took a seat beside you and watched as you typed as fast as you could with one hand. He raised his eyebrow and wondered who you were texting but he didn't dare to ask. He knew you were still mad at him about the whole thing with Mrs. Tanaka, and he understood. He had threatened to hurt you which was out of line.
"Why did we come to the airport so goddamn early?" He asked, and you chuckled, turning your phone off for the first time and looking at him.
"We can't risk missing the plane." You answered.
"Yeah but the flight is at noon. It's nine in the morning." He told you as he read the time from his watch. You shrugged and went back to your phone.
"Go get drunk or something if you're so bored." You suggested making him look at you and tilt his head.
"Drunk? At nine in the morning?" He replied.
"We're in an airport. Time is not a concept here. Just go." You said. He sighed and stayed by your side. He pulled out his phone and began to go through it. He smirked as he got an idea.
He put the phone up, and angled the phone to take a selfie. You were too late to stop him, since he got the picture. You clicked your tongue since you knew he wouldn't delete it even though you looked awkward since your hand was trying to reach for his phone, seconds before the picture was taken.
"Goddamn it, Satoru." You rolled your eyes at him, and he just chuckled. You stood up with intentions of going to the bathroom.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"The bathroom." You answered. You turned your back to him and before you could walk away he wrapped his arms around waist, resting his head on your lower back.
"Don't leave me." He joked. He didn't want to awkwardly sit there and watch your stuff since he'd surely lose something.
"I will literally fart right now." You responded.
"Sounds like a dream." He replied. You got his arms off you and walked to the bathroom, holding back a giggle. Your phone had fallen from your back pocket, and you didn't notice. Gojo did and he picked it up from the floor. He stared at it and saw how many messages you were getting from the same person... It was fair to say that he was curious but he wasn't going to invade your privacy in such a manner.
So he did what any sane person would do. Open up the camera roll and fill it up with pictures of him. He turned it off and placed it face down on your seat.
You had walked back, when you finally noticed that your phone was missing from your backpocket. Your heart was racing but luckily enough you found it screen-down on your seat.
"You should thank me for getting your phone before a thief could put their hands on it!" Gojo was quick to say. You clicked your tongue and grabbed the phone. You bent down and pressed a kiss on Gojo's forehead before going back to the bathroom. That was your way of saying thank you and Gojo didn't know why it was bothering him so much.
It wasn't his normal reaction to blush when someone did such an act. He also didn't understand why his heart was racing. He gulped and tried to focus his attention on something else.
-
You boarded the plane, and were seated by the window. Technically, the window seat was for Gojo but he agreed to switch places with you. He willingly had given up his seat, and you thought it would take a bit more of a fight.
Just as expected, he had bought first class tickets. For your trips you never really cared to buy first class, but now that you were you were curious to find out what the big difference was between economy, other than the seats.
"You look tired." Gojo commented. You hadn't bothered putting on makeup that morning so you were going to take it offensively, but you knew that he was right. You barely had slept the previous night since you pretty much had been texting your husband's girlfriends. You got around ten minutes of sleep before Gojo had knocked on your door. You had to invite him in so you could take a quick shower and get ready.
"Are you telling me I look ugly because I didn't put any makeup on? Is that it?" You teased and he was quick to shake his head. You chuckled. "I'm just joking. I am tired."
"You can sleep until our first stop." He told you and you hummed. You were so tired that the clarity that came from the window didn't bother you. You just closed your eyes. Gojo was quick to grab your head and put it on his shoulder. You didn't bother fighting it.
He was convinced something was wrong with him. Because when he looked at you he got this weird feeling. Maybe it was just nerves that you had figured out his lie since you didn't really bother asking more about his brother.
But that feeling intensified when you placed a kiss on his forehead so maybe it wasn't because of his lie... But he would find an excuse. He always did. Perhaps it was because he rarely received that type of affection. The pure kind.
He was tempted to do something to find out. So he did it. He pressed a kiss on your forehead to confirm it.
The reaction from his body confirmed it, pushing aside all the dumb excuses. His palms got sweaty after doing something so simple. His cheeks were tinted pink again. But as scared as he was of that certain feeling, it was oddly comforting.
He wrapped his arm around you, pulling you slightly closer to him. He was tired of his lifestyle, and he wanted to try something else. Even if it was with a married woman.
