↳ 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙈𝙚 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚

"Good morning." Gojo smiled at you as he set a plate down on the dinner table. He was already dressed up so you assumed he'd be leaving soon.

"Good morning, Satoru." You greeted him. You walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

"I made you some breakfast. I have to get going." He told you as he walked away to grab a couple of things. "Are you free tomorrow?"

"I am, why?" You responded with a smile on your face. You thought it was finally it, tomorrow he'd ask you to become his girlfriend. He shook his head before walking over to you and pressing a kiss on your temple.

"Have a great day at work." He said before walking out the door. You sat down in front of the meal he had prepared for you, and your mouth was salivating. He had prepared your favorite breakfast.

Now you began to think about the moment you had waited so long for. He'd be asking you to dinner tonight, and he'd outdo himself like always. You'd dress up pretty for him– Look so beautiful that his jaw drops to the floor. He'd have to ask you out.

And you couldn't wait.

Once you finished breakfast, you washed your plate and walked into the bedroom to grab your clothes for the day and change. Your day was an easy one, you'd just wait for the client and sign a contract. After that you'd start some basic research but you didn't really go into it too much the day of the contract.

There was a knock on your office door which was strange since your client left a couple of minutes ago. They hadn't forgotten anything, at least everything in the office looked like it belonged to you. So you were curious as you walked over and opened the door. You sighed as you saw who it was.

"Hikari." You acknowledged him. He held an orchid plant in his hand. He extended his hand and you were hesitant before taking the flower. He took that as his sign that he was walking into the office but he wasn't. He was already inside.

"I want to talk-" He began but you cut him off.

"I don't want to talk though. If you need something, speak to the lawyer." You said. Hikari knew better than to try so he stood up and walked out of the office. You sat back down on your chair and began to think about the weird interaction that just happened.

He wanted to talk now, but you weren't going to listen to him. He had so many prior opportunities to talk but he had taken them for granted. You had all the time in the world to listen but did you really want to waste your precious time with him?

Your phone rang and you were quick to grab it to see who it was. You smiled as you saw a message from Gojo.

Some crazy shit went down

You responded with a yes and you put your phone back down on your desk. You were excited to hear what just happened. Gojo told you every single detail about what happened to him and it was fair to say crazy stuff happened. Although you were more excited to just hear him talk than to listen to the story.

"You okay?" Gojo asked as he saw you chewing your food a bit too slow. You two were eating dinner, and he had noticed you were a bit off during lunch too. He thought it was because you were at work but now that you were home he knew that something was up. "Is the food bad?"

"The food is really good." You answered as you grabbed your glass of water to take a sip. You continued eating and he was still going to ask what was up with you.

"What's wrong? You've been acting weird since lunch." He questioned and you swallowed your food before speaking.

"I'm just- Hikari tried to speak with me today and ever since I've been thinking about it." You responded and he nodded. He acted neutral even though it was bothering him more than he'd like to admit.

"What did he say?" Gojo spoke because he thought staying silent would make you think that he's mad in some way.

"He brought me the orchid plant that you saw in my office but we didn't speak. I told him to speak to my lawyer if he had anything to say." You informed Gojo and he nodded as he took a sip from his glass of water. He was glad to hear that but at the same time he didn't like how Hikari was bothering you so much. You were acting weird the whole day so Hikari's appearance really bothered you.

"Do you-" Gojo began but he stopped before asking the question. Gojo hated making people uncomfortable so he'd stay curious if it meant that he wouldn't make you uncomfortable. And even though he was thinking of a relationship with you and he should probably know the things he wanted to ask, he would remain quiet.

"That jackass isn't worth my time." You said and even though you looked like you meant it, Gojo was insecure.

The dinner continued and you began to clean up the table. Gojo had cooked so he didn't really help you. He usually would help, but he was feeling a bit down. He walked to his room. He distracted himself with his phone.

You knocked on his door out of courtesy since the door was already opened. He looked up and raised his eyebrow.

"I'll go take out the trash." You informed him, and he stood up. He walked over to you and cupped your face before pecking your lips.

"That was random." You commented with a smile on your lips, he smiled back but he didn't say anything.

You walked out of the apartment with the trash and he sat on the edge of the bed, thinking that maybe waiting till tomorrow was waiting too much. The weight was so heavy on his chest and he needed to tell you right now.

There was a knock on the door and Gojo stood up confused. How could you have possibly locked yourself out? He chuckled as he walked and opened the door.

Gojo's eyes widened.

"Hikari, what are you doing here?"
