There was a glow in Gojo's eye, and it was so noticeable. Geto wanted to comment on it, but he knew the reason, therefore what was the point of mentioning it? It was so clear that as time passed, Gojo fell more and more in love with you. As if there was no possible limit for it. And he won't hide that love, even when people are around, which tends to get them a tad bit uncomfortable.
It's the mannerism and the way he talked about you. He was just so in love, and who wouldn't be uncomfortable when he rubbed the relationship in their faces. Although they never commented on it because Gojo just looked so happy bringing you up and your relationship. A man had never looked so happy talking about his relationship before. At least in Geto's eyes.
"How long have you two been officially dating anyway?" Geto asked as he looked at his best friend, after around thirty minutes of listening to Gojo boast about his relationship. At this point Geto believed that Gojo had plans of proposing because this behavior is unusual. It has to be.
"Six months." Gojo answered, and Geto just thought about how it was way too early to pop the question. Then again, every couple is different.
"So what are you going to do?" Geto questioned and Gojo furrowed his eyebrows. He ended up shrugging. "Well aren't you going to propose?"
"Why are you asking me this?" Gojo responded. "First off, didn't you just hear we have only been dating for six months? Plus, we haven't talked about marriage. I'm giving it some time."
"Oh, okay. My bad. Just curious about your relationship and all since you won't shut up about her." Geto told him, with a hint of attitude in his voice. "She's amazing and I'm happy for you, bro, but it'd be nice if you would just talk about something else for five minutes."
"Yeah... I guess you're right." Gojo sighed.
"Unless you have plans about letting me join, then I'm all ears." Geto joked and Gojo just glared at his friend. Gojo rolled his eyes and ignored the comment. "Anyway, any plans for the night?"
"It's date night, bro. You should already know this." Gojo told him, and Geto subtly shook his head, a chuckle leaving his lips.
"My bad, bro. Sorry for not keeping up with you and your girlfriend's scheduled dates and all." Geto pulled out his phone, jokingly opening the calendar app to add 'Satoru's date night'. "When are you two having sex? I have to add it to the calendar too so you don't give me an attitude for not knowing."
"Shut up." Gojo rolled his eyes. Gojo changed the topic, but now Geto had a question about your relationship and all. Although Geto was sick and tired of hearing about it, he had a question for Gojo.
"Have you thought about getting married?" Geto asked, interrupting Gojo. Gojo tilted his head and squinted his eyes as he looked at his best friend.
"Are you intoxicated?" Gojo replied and Geto shook his head, a bit confused on what that had to do with. "I just told you we haven't-"
"Not if you have talked to her about it. I'm talking about you. Have you thought about marrying her?" Geto asked again and Gojo took a minute.
"I have." Gojo answered. "Ever since we started dating. Even before that."
"That's good to know. I'm happy to hear that." Geto responded. "But... What if she doesn't want to get married again?"
"I don't need a document that legally binds us, to stay by her side. I love her, even if I don't get to call her my wife. Nothing is going to change that." Gojo told him, which made Geto stick his tongue out and make a gagging noise.
"You're so in love it's disgusting."
"Aww, are you jealous?"
"Never."
