"Jake.. Im so sorry. Brian is.. ugh I can't believe he did that.." Ash still had tears falling down her face but they were more silent sobs. Jake had his head laying on the head rest and his eyes were closed. He was fine, he was just feeling regretful. He knew he shouldn't have gotten involved with Ash. Especially when he heard that she was nothing but trouble. All he felt was pain. Essentially that was a good thing, he felt no love at all which ment that everyone was safe.
Or so he thought.. Because when he went to open his eyes and turn his head his heart dropped. The broken beuty in front of him was almost to much to bare. Her eyes were focused on the road while her long brown hair fell from her shoulders and her lips quivered with saddness. "P-please don't cry Ash.. Ive been through worse." He whispered. "I just dont understand why you wouldnt wait for an ambulance.. We need to go somewhere Jake." Jake frantically shook his head. "N-No, im fine just take me to the cemetary. I'll be ok." He lay back down and closed his eyes.
The ride to the cemetary was a silent yet comfortable one. Ash was still a nervous wreck by the time they got to the gates. If anyone should be freaking out it should be Jake. He looks like he just got ran over by a tow truck. Ash helped him out of the car and he once again wrapped his arm over her shoulder for support. They trudged toward the grave shed/ Jake's home/ Paul's office. They opened the door and Ash gently lay Jake on his couch. She propped his foot up and he seethed at the pain. She then rushed into Paul's office to try and find a first aid kit. Once she got her hands on one she was right back at Jake's side. "Um can you lift your uh.." She had to check for ny bruises or puncture marks since he took it to the chest pretty hard. Jake through all the pain found a way to smirk and understood what she was asking. He leaned up from the back of the couch and took off his shirt. Now supporting himself with one hand and his face only inches away from Ash there was a still silence. He could hear her un-even breathing through her parted lips. His face was unchanged, unemotional, and focused onto her mesmorizing eyes. Ash's eyes then gazed down and her breath hitched when she saw the various bruises and cuts covering the boy's body. "Oh my god.." Her eyes began to tear up again and her hand came up to cover her mouth from letting out more cries. She turned and grabbed the damp rag that was soaked in antibiotics. Coming close to him once again she brought the rag up to the big scratch on his upper body. "It doesn't hurt as much anymore.." He whispered. Her eyes met his once more and a small smile grew from her lips.
Jake then made the cautious decision to caress Ash's cheek. He forced his mind to go blank while doing so to prevent any feelings from coming through. Ash however was in deep. She could feel her heart skip a beat in her chest. "Youre.. beautiful Ash." Jake whispered while trying to keep his emotions locked away. One must have slipped out. "Jake I-" before she could finish her sentance there was a rattle at the door. "Dagnabbit! these damn keys!" Paul was heard at the door. Both of the young teenagers eyes went wide. "Gotta go!" Ash whispered. She leaned over and kissed Jake's cheek and then bolted toward the back door of the shed. She quietly snuck out and shut the door behind her. Jake layed back down on the couch and put a hand up to his cheek where she had kissed him. Paul entered a few seconds after struggling with the door. "So how were things while i was away? Haha youdon't have to answer, I know you don't say much. I also know hat no one visits here. Just a bunch of forgotten souls lay here... Yeah I bet things were pretty boring while I was-" "Things were fine." Jake responded. Paul stopped in his steps and gaped at Jake. "Did you just-" Jake nodded. Paul blinked and nodded. "well alright then..."
Yes things were very fine.
