The next day paul decided to take a break. He left Jake in charge as usual. Ash knew of her father's plans to take a day off from work and decided to visit Jake in the meantime. considering he was now the only friend she had left, she wanted to go see him. The way they communicated and acted yesterday made her pretty uneasy in a good way. Everytime Jake appeared in her head then her stomach would fill up with butterflies. She bolted out the door and into her car in efforts to see him.

Jake was pretty content with the way things were going yesterday as well. He knew what he was doing and made sure that his emotions stayed as neutral as possible. Of course, they almost went haywire when he felt a sudden urge to kiss the young lady but he was saved by Paul's intrusion. Oh, how badly he wanted their lips to connect. He knew now that he never had to see her again. She probably did not want to see him again. He was just a weird, quiet, soul that worked for her father. She couldn't possibly want to be bothered by him. Right? It was for the best, for her safety. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the shed door. Jake thought Paul had the day off?

Jake opened the door to see a bright faced young beauty. She looked on the edge. Ash walked through the door with a top hat and glasses and a hunched back. "Is it clear, he is gone right?" Jake shrugged his shoulders, not having a clue who Ash was referring to or why she was here in the first place. "My father?" Jake smiled and closed the door. He continued to lean on it and stare at the overdramtic girl in disguise. "He took the day off." Ash smiled back and took off her hat and glasses. By doing so she revealed those dark eyes that make Jake weaken everytime he sees them. "Y-you still shouldn't be here." Jake stuttered. "Why not?" Ash moved closer to the boy who's eyes were now focused on the floor boards. He didn't answer. "Jake?.." Ash placed her hand on his shoulder and at that gesture Jake treaded across the floor to avoid her touch. He was scared for her. "It's dangerous." Ash rolled her eyes. "Oh Jake, it is just a graveyard. I am a tough girl, Ican handle myself." Jake shook his head. "Im dangerous." He took a seat in the office chair and twisted it so that his back was facing Ash and he was starring out the foggy window. he could not bare to look at her face or he might break. He had a sudden urge to kiss the girl and he knew that the consequences would not be worth it. "No youre not.." Ash laughed. Her laughter soon died down once she realised how serious Jake was being. "Jake.."

Jake heard sounds of sirens in the back of his mind. Memories began flooding back and he could not stop them. WEEE OOO WEEE OOO WEEE OOO

"Jake?!"

"no.." Jake woke up to the sound of sirens. "no no no no no NOOO!!"

"NOO!! Why won't you leave?! I can't.. I-I can't do this anymore!!" Jake screamed as the scarring memories that played in his head like movie screens. He gripped onto his hair and tried to tear the memories out but all he was doing created more pain. Ash, instead of backing up in fear, ran to the boys side and raised him out of the chair.

"Jake look at me," the boy continued to meltdown. "Look at me!" And the flashbacks suddenly stopped. Jake was now starring back into Ash's eyes and felt his body go numb.

Ash had now realised that there was a whole past side to Jake that she has yet to know about. He was a very mysterious boy. Sadly, this only led to her being more curious. It turned her on, she wanted to find out more.

Grim Reaper-If only this girl would listen..

Jake was breathing pretty heavy and low. "Jake wh-what happened to you?" Jake shook his head as a tear dropped down hif puffy red cheeks. Ash brought him into a hug and he held on tightly letting his emotions get the best of him.

After a minute they parted and Jake forced himself to look back into Ash's eyes as they seemed to calm him. Their faaces were practically two inches apart. That sudden urge Jake had felt last night was back. He wanted to escape it but there was no possible way. Ash then made the mistake of closing her eyes slowly as Jake did the same. She was the first one to lean in. The moment Jake felt the brush of Ash's lips against his Jake's eyes shot open and he stepped two huge steps back. "Ash.. No!"

Every person that kissed him in the past has soon after passed.. away. "Are you feeling okay? Do you feel any sudden sicknesses, dissiness?" Jake placed his hand on her forehead and she took his hand in hers. "Jake it's just a kiss.. was it that bad?" Jake shook his head with panicked eyes. "No Ash that is not it," He could not risk her dying overnight. He would never forgive himself. "You have to stay the night with me." Ash was now the one to take two steps back. "Jake I barely know you.." She laughed a bit until Jake's face stayed stone cold and she stopped. He began to gather blankets and his extra pillow. "Please trust me.."

Ash looked at him sideways. She might have just met Jake but he is different from other people. It was definetly odd how one minute he was begging her to leave and then the next he was making her stay. It might have been odd but she found something trustworthy in him. "Okay. I trust you."
