(————)For anyone who wonders why I have lines and dashes throughout the story I write it's because it signifies the end and beginnings of chapter time skip moments when I gave up and so on because I write this on google docs then transfer it over.

Today was the day that Sasori, Riku's mentor, and Deidara, my mentor, had to leave to get the one tails.
"Hey Deidara?" I said and grabbed onto his sleeve. He had ten minuets till he had to leave so he was near the door waiting on Sasori who was always exactly on time.
"Promise me you won't die out there. I have a weird feeling and I don't want to lose you" I whispered and looked away, a little embarrassed of my request.
"I promise I won't die, yeah." he said and hugged me close. I hugged him back, enjoying the warmth he provided and the familiar scent of his cloak.
"Thanks dei..." He just smiled down to me as he comfortingly rubbed his hand on my back.
I always got worried when he had to leave the hide-out for missions, knowing there was a small chance he wouldn't make it back alive.
I let go reluctantly as Sasori appeared at the door and Riku walked to stand beside to me, probably to wish them both luck as well. Deidara also let go, ruffling my hair annoyingly, much to my complaint.
He walked over to Sasori, who had already said good bye to Riku. "We'll be back in a little bit, promise you'll stay out of trouble and won't hurt yourself, yeah?"
I smiled and happily nodded, ignoring the feeling of dread building in my stomach at the thought of him leaving me for who knows how long, "I promise I'll stay out of trouble. I'll miss you. Have a good trip!"
Deidara gave me one last quick hug, telling me he would, then they left out the door and we were set to be on our own for the next couple days.
--Timeskip two days--
All the members of the Akatsuki were lined up on two rocks shaped to look like hands. Well everyone except Deidara and Sasori that is.
The one tails should be back within an about hour or so depending on how quickly Sasori and Deidara travel. I just hope that Sasori's level of impatience was enough to convince them to move quickly cause I really really missed them. Not that I would ever admit that to anyone else.
As they entered my chakra feild I let out a sigh of relief. The third chakra signature however was one i recognized but couldn't exactly put a name on. The familiarity of the chakra forced my movements to freeze.
"Why cant I remember who that person is?" I whispered to myself, but Riku must of heard it because she responded back to me.
"What pers-" Riku froze, stopping her words mid scentence and I assumed they entered her chakra field too. Does she know who that chakra signature belong to?
"No... it can't be him..." her voice sounded weak, cracking and sounding out in an even quieter, seemingly hurt whisper.
"What are we going to do?" I asked her, wanting desperately to figure out who it was. I didn't want to ask Riku though, knowing that they must have held too much significance to her to outright tell me.
Judging from the scared and hurt look on her face, she must know exactly who this person is. I just hope they can tell me about the past that my mind blocked out...
"I don't know, but we need to stop them in any way possible." She replied, her quiet voice shaking.
I nodded and we both stood up from our sitting positions next to the cave wall.
