17- reanimation back to life

I awoke to see myself next to Sasuke and tobi. Sasuke had a wrap around his eyes and was talking about how he had taken itachi's eyes.

After a while I sensed someone nearby and recognized it as Kabuto and went outside to see Tobi and him.

Tobi jumped forward and was stopped from attacking Kabuto by coffins appearing. I froze as each one opened revealing something that I missed so dearly.

The akatsuki that had been killed, before my very eyes.

Itachi...

Sasori...

Deidara...

Kakuzu...

Nagato...

Each of them in a row and I jumped down beside Tobi to not hear my presence.

My face remained stoic most of the time but now tears welled up in my eyes.

I froze with realization as kabuto walked next to the coffin holding itachi.

I stood straighter and thought 'don't tell me we have to fight them.'

Kabuto then explained how it was to gain our trust and I let out a breath I had been holding.

As the two spoke to each other I just started straight at the coffins.

My stoic appearance reappeared as another coffin showed up and someone I didn't recognize appeared.

Tobi and kabuto started walking away and as they walked by me kabuto hit his shoulder on mine as I stared straight at him passing.

"I swear if you make me fight them you will be in a hell that is inevitable and I will make you suffer as long as we both live" He left me behind as I sat next to one of the bones to prop myself up.

Tobi came out a couple minutes later and I nodded goodbye to him as I knew he was leaving for somewhere.

He nodded back and disappeared.

I closed my eyes letting the sounds of outside lull me into a peaceful state nearing sleep.

I awoke to air slapping my face and a bird I recognized in front of me.

'I slept for about a week didn't I?' I thought and lifted my head looking at the bird made of clay.

"Good luck and return safely" I said keeping a voice crack from my voice as I saw the lifeless deidara next to kabuto, instinctively grabbing the headband around my neck.

"Make sure to tell deidara his little sister wishes him luck for me" I said knowing that he wouldn't but making myself heard to at least one person.

I turned away as they left tears welling up as I walked back inside. 'They don't matter anymore my only goal is to protect sasuke and obey his wishes' I shook my head and walked around aimlessly.

Eventually I found myself in my room and I fell to the floor taking out the contents of my bag to sort through them preparing for when I would be sent out.

I started to rearrange my bag, adding the headbands and possessions to my collection on my wall, clearing its pocket.

I put in one scroll with food in my bag, one scroll that held my weapons and I put some kunai in there as well.

I decided to change into better clothes and bound my chest with bandage wrap, I put on a black tank top over it with a green oversized children looking hoodie to give me a harmless look. I put on some short shorts and put my hair into a ponytail that reaches about the top of my neck.

I put my bag on exiting my room noticing that kabuto was back and he had someone with him.

I saw Yamato under his grasp next to zetsu and a masked man I assumed was tobi.

I looked straight into his eyes as the others conversed. My eyes were a dark green and I made sure to make them lifeless.

His eyes widened at the sight of me.

I glared in disgust and looked to kabuto, "if he is to die it will be by my hand and anyone who kills him before I do will suffer a fate worse than death" I turned my vision to look briefly at tobi then at Yamato.

I sent him a silent message saying to run as I turned away watching his eyes return to normal.

I walked out of the room as zetsu left to the earth and I went to find sasuke. I saw Zetsy talking to him as I knelt in front of sasuke.

When they finished conversing, Sasuke spoke to me.

"Why are you here?" I looked at him. He still looked forward.

"I have no purpose in this world other than to make sure you come out of every fight alive and all your needs are filled even if it means killing myself for it" he let out a laugh of disgust.

"Then die. I don't need some side character to protect me," he said in a deep threatening voice.

"If that is what is required for your happiness then I will do so. When you can see again I will die for your sake" I stood up and stood in front of Sasuke making sure I would fill out my job till I die.

"That however does not mean I will leave your side, regardless of what you say or do I will protect you until my end, I am a shield for you to use as you please.'' He let out a grunt and I closed my eyes sitting in silence.

I left one last comment thankful to Sasuke, "Thank you for being my reason to live again"

'If at the cost of my life that you live I will die again and again'

A really short chapter only 1000 words roughly but I don't really have inspiration anymore except what I want to do that I can't until a certain point anyways have this half assed update for now :) sorry that I'm not a very good writer but hey at least i got a chapter out :)
