Anyways to the story—

Everyone went back to the leaf, drained mentally and physically.

It was the day of Asuma's funeral and I couldn't even begin to describe the guilt I felt.

I walked to the place where they were holding the funeral memories of the third hokage's funeral playing in my mind.

It just now occured to me that I was the reason for both deaths of Konohamaru's family...

Konahamaru was crying while Naruto was next to him and Sakura.

I had a sad guilty look on my face.

'It's all my fault' I thought, clenching my fists. 'If only I stepped in sooner' 'if only I had given them the information sooner' 'if only I hadn't had the connections to the Akatsuki' I was choking back the cries that so desperately wished to be released.

'If only I had just been useful' before I knew it the funeral was over and everyone left.

I walked back to my apartment that I shared with Riku.

"He wouldn't want me to worry about being at fault for his death. It will take a while but I hope I can soon accept the fact he is gone" I sighed and laid down.

"I'm sorry asuma"

It was time to go back to the mission again.

We headed out with Kakashi leading us this time Riku was with us as well due to the Akatsuki not knowing anything about her. She was always near Sasori and nobody else except me of course.

We walked until Ino found the two members and me and Riku hid.

(It's slightly rushed but it was a last minute change whereas I'm already two episodes past here)

We found out that Kakuzu could perform all types of chakra nature jutsu and me and Riku decided to make our move when Kakuzu shot a blaze of lightning at shikamaru and choji.

She manipulated the lightning away from as in a forked split.

Kakashi jumped next to them as I was still hidden.

Kakuzu this time shot fire that I knew if it touched someone it would cause critical injuries.

"FIRE STYLE: CONTROL " I manipulated the fire away from the others so they weren't hit as they escaped, disregarding myself.

They all escaped the fire and sent their way and I stayed in front with burns showing on my arms and legs while standing tall.

They all reassembled behind the protection of me and Riku.

Hidan started to insult Asuma while choji was about to explode. I was in the same boat with him. I wasn't going to give them that satisfaction though. Not yet at least.

Choji rushed in and was stopped by Shikamaru before Hidan could hit him. Kakashi blocked Hidan's attack while Kakuzu went in front of him.

I ran and grabbed Choji, stopping him from hitting a tree.

Kakuzu was about to stab Choji and I ran up and protected him again. Shikamaru was struck by lightning jutsu while the other two were captured by kakuzu.

"RIKU HELP SHIKAMARU" I spoke for the first time running to kakuzu.

"RELEASE THEM NOW" I yelled as I made my blades.
