I'm in the dining room setting up the table and my brother comes running down the stairs.
"Hey matty, no stomping in the house" I say, nicely.
He smiles widely at me.
"Paigey!!! I was wondering if you would play monster trucks with me?" he asks me.
"Maybe later" I replied. "I'm making you guys dinner"
I love my little brother. He's always smiling and he is just the sweetest. It's always good when it comes to my family. My mom and dad walk in.
"Hey sweetie" my dad says to me and kisses my forehead.
He goes over to Matthew and gives him a high-five.
"Hey champ!" he says to matt.
"How was school?" my mother asks me.
"Oh, it was... fast" I answered, unsure of what to say really.
The fact that Juan might have skipped today, and me spraining my arm which I haven't got to telling my parents about yet is clouding my mind. I'll come around with the news that I sprained my arm later I guess. My arm hurts like hell though. They went into the living room.
"Mom!" I yelled from the kitchen to the living room.
My mom walks back into the kitchen.
"Whats wrong sweetie?" she asks me.
"I'm not feeling well, could you take over dinner for me please?" I ask her. "I'm going to go lie down"
My mom nods and walks over to the stove where I was making roast and potatoes and starts to continue on for me. I head up to my room and go lay down in my comfy bed. I close my eyes and turn on the side that wouldn't hurt my arm.
An hour later a sudden shiver came to me and I woke up. I get out of my bed and realize nothing possibly could make me cold. My window wasn't open, and my room was really warm. I wish I could get his stupid damn face out of my mind.
