Chapter 13- Paige

"Morning baby girl" I hear a voice say.

I open my eyes and find my dad standing over me smiling.

"Good morning sunshine. Get up and ready for school." He says to me and walks out of my room.

I get up out of my bed and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I'm wearing my pajamas still, they're very comfortable. Short shorts for bed and a big t-shirt. I hear a door creak open as I see a half-nude but very dark body come out of the guest room across from the bathroom. Juan, in his boxers and he's shirtless. Woah, um... I shouldn't be looking. I cover my eyes while I'm brushing my teeth and he walks past me and heads toward the toilet. Um...

"What are you doing!?" I ask nervously.

He looks at me.

"Trying to take a piss, how about you?" he asks me, with a smirk.

Smart ass. He's lucky I don't come over there and push him into the toilet, and trust me, I'll make him fit.

"Aren't you gonna ask me to leave?" I ask him, confused.

He smirks again.

"Nah, you can look"

I've never met someone with so much arrogance, cockiness and with so much confidence in themselves as he does. I walk out of the bathroom, closing the door behind me and go into my room and change into jogging pants and a big t-shirt for school. Juan goes to the guest room and comes back out seconds later fully dressed and a cocky grin on his face.

"Oh by the way, chica, you've got great legs... show em' more often" he says to me.

Ugh, well the somewhat sweetness yesterday was great while it lasted.

"Nah, I'm good" I say. "Let's go to school. Wouldn't wanna be late would we?"

I'm only trying to show him whose boss around here. We get a drive to school from my dad, and then he leaves the parking lot because he won't be in the school for half the day, which leaves people staring at Juan and I standing side by side.
