"The girl?" Levi asked "That's Gabriel, a guy"
Ella turned to look at me.
"What are they talking about?" Ella asked telepathy
Ella and I could understand each other's facial expressions. Weird I know, but it was easier to talk about the boys we liked by expressing ourselves with our facial expressions.
"I'm undercover, say I'm Aster's younger brother" I replied
Ella understood and put our plan in motion.
"Ahaha... I confused you with your sister!" Ella shrugged
"Right, that happens often" I muttered awkwardly
Ella and I were terrible at acting like we didn't know each other.
"Sister?" Ashton asked trying to continue the conversation with Ella
"Yes Aster's sister" Ella spoke before I interrupted
"Brother" I glared
"Brother! I confused them" Ella chuckled awkwardly
"I'll take it from here Isabella," I said
"Ay! Don't be so formal" Ella glared
"You idiot," I said telepathy
"You called me an idiot! I'm so proud" Ella replied with tears in her eyes
I scoffed and jokingly rolled my eyes.
"Formal?" Ashton asked "Are you friends or do you just know him through your friend"
"Uh... I asked Gabe twice and he rejected me so I prefer not to be called so formally" Ella lied
I froze. Ella, I'm impressed by how bad at lying you are.
"Y-You did?" Ashton asked looking at me
"Of course but he doesn't like older women" Ella continued her lie
I let out a sigh. While Ella smiled at me and winked
"I got this in the bag," Ella said telepathy
"Gabriel what's wrong with you?!" Levi asked practically screaming
I shrugged
"Are you Gabe's friend group?" Ella asked optimistically
"Yeah we are, I'm Ashton Fujiwara, Gabe is a great friend of mine" Ashton smiled
Ella smiled even more.
"You're friends with such a cutie!" Ella smiled
"He's an asshole I'd like to beat up!" I replied telepathically
"Want to join us? You and Gabe could catch up" Ashton smiled
As you could expect I was so confused. I've never seen him smile unless you count his smirk when he bothers the hell out of me.
"I'd love to!" Ella smiled
Ashton smiled as he led the group. Ella stayed behind with me.
"He's cute! Ah too bad he's younger than me" Ella sighed
I chuckled
"He's two years younger not a big difference" I smiled
"Eh I prefer older men" Ella smirked
I rolled my eyes jokingly. No matter if the guy was great if he was younger Ella wouldn't date them.
"You should date one of them, they're all attractive" Ella joked, or at least I hoped
