I hadn't spoken to Liam since then. Neither of us had tried to reach out, too stubborn to apologise. I'd written down everything I wanted to say to Liam in our time apart, writing it was easier than saying it of course. I was almost done when my phone buzzed.
I pulled it out of my pocket. It was a notification from Instagram.

I felt my heart drop inside me. If this was Liam's way of trying to get me back it wasn't funny. Two could play at this game. I needed to text an old friend.

Lance❌: Sure thing Raeken, where?
Me: There's a coffee shop near ur old place? It's new how about there? In about an hour?
Lance❌: I guess I'll see you there then
Me: Great!
Not gonna lie this wasn't my best plan ever since Liam didn't know about Lance but he'd find out soon enough I was sure of it.
