"Hey baby." I walked in kissing Liams forehead softly.

"Hey..." he said and I froze.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing I'm fine."

"Liam Raeken." I tilted his chin up so he'd look at me. "What's wrong?"

Liam smiled softly, "I love being Liam Raeken." He mumbled and I smiled.

"You say that every time. It's been six months shouldn't you be used to this."

"Nope." I looked at him for a moment.

"What's wrong Li?"

"Scott came round today."

"Oh? And that makes you sad..."

"He brought Molly round."

"That's nice, how is she getting on?"

"Great actually, she's four months next week."

I nodded, "I still don't get it. What's wrong?"

"I wanna have a baby." The words came out of Liam's mouth and I froze. We'd had this conversation. Three times, three times before I asked Liam to marry me. If we didn't want the same things, it wouldn't work out. I don't want kids, never have and Liam agreed to that. Then he said those words.

"I know we talked about it. And I know you don't want a kid but-"

"I told you before we got married that this was something I'd said from a young age. And you said you respected that and that's why I proposed."

"But-"

"No Liam! I told you no!" I saw the tears well up in Liam's eyes before he left slamming the door behind him. If I was lucky, he'd come back at some time tomorrow. He'd probably be at Mason's from now until he decided to come back. I ran a hand through my hair biting my lip drawing blood.

"Shit." I cursed as the blood dripped onto my shirt that I wore to work. "Just great." I grabbed a cloth from the counter running it under the cold water for a second before trying to get the blood out. Then the stupid doorbell rang.

"One second!"

"It's Allison let me in!" I rolled my eyes opening the door still struggling with my shirt.

"Theo I have great news!" She said bursting in and shutting the door behind her.

"Mhm." I said half listening.

"Lydia's pregnant." I froze.

"You what?" I looked up.

"Lydia's pregnant."

"I'm sorry what?"

"Oh my god! Lydia is pregnant she has a child in her? Jeez did no one ever teach you about sex education." I sent her a look.

"Right sorry..."

"It's fine. Well, Congratulations! I just don't get how that's medically possible..."

Allison rolled her eyes, "We used a sperm donor, we didn't wanna tell any of you in case it didn't work but of course it did!" She said excitedly.

"Where's Liam so I can tell him!"

"He's not here. We had a stupid fight."

"Oh I'm sorry! What happened?"

"Nothing. Scott came round earlier with Molly and clearly out ideas in his head about having a kid which is not what I want. And he got annoyed at me and walked out."

"Remind me again. Why is it that you don't want a kid?"

"No reason. I just decided from a young age that I wouldn't have one."

"But why?"

"I don't know?"

"You've got to have a reason!"

"I just don't want a kid okay! Now drop it."

"No I will not drop it until you tell me!"

"No!"

"Please Theo!"

"I don't wanna turn out like my father okay!" I shouted.

"Oh Theo." Allison sighed hugging me tight.

"You know that will never happen right?"

"I know. I just don't wanna take that chance." I mumbled.

"You are one of the strongest, bravest, nicest people I know, when you want to be of course." I chuckled, "If you had a child I guarantee that you will be the best father that child could every ask for." I stayed quiet as she spoke.

"And do you really want to go through life not even trying to have a child? Liam is the love of your life Theo. What if in twenty years you decide you want kids, it's too late then. I just don't think you should give up without even trying."

"What if I do turn out like him."

"You are not your father Theo. No matter how much you tell yourself you are you're not. Okay?" I nodded.

"Please, just try. For Liam." I sighed.

"I'll try..." Allison smiled.

"Now you call Liam and tell him you need to speak to him!" She said and I nodded.

* * * *

"Theo?" Liam walked in and I shot up from my place on the sofa.

"Liam!" I hurried over.

"Look I'm sorry for pushing you earlier I was being selfish and-" Liam said looking down at the floor.

"Hey that doesn't matter anymore."

"What?" I took a deep breath.

"I don't want to have children. I decided that from a young age... I don't want to turn out like my father."

"Theo-"

"Please. Please let me finish." Liam went quiet.

"I don't want to be like him and that's what scared me. But... if kids is what you really want. I'm willing to try, for you." Liam's eyes welled up with tears again.

"You mean it?"

"I mean it." Liam let out a sob practically throwing himself on me. I smiled holding him close.

"Oh I love you Theo Raeken!" He said and I laughed.

"I love you too Liam Raeken."
