Jealousy - Bucky x OC

Georgia's POV - Next Morning

Last night was amazing, Jonothan is a nice guy and he had asked to take me out today and of course, I couldn't refuse. Bucky didn't seem to like him though, was it because of the 80 year age gap or something. 

I suppose that isn't good but I couldn't help being in ice for 70 years technically I am 30 if we don't count the 70 years.

Jonothan didn't seem to care about the gap, said it was ok and there was no one to blame for it. Bucky thought otherwise, Bucky cared about the age gap yet he never blamed anyone for my reason of being the same age as him.

Sitting at the dining table this morning Steve reads the morning paper he stole from the tower "morning Steve" I smile walking past him "Oh Morning Buck" I say noticing Bucky sitting across from Steve "what's in today's mail" I ask.

"The Charity fundraiser that's about it" Steve says and I make cereal "how was Jonothan by the way he seemed to enjoy last night I was texting him" texting Jonothan? "you know how to text?" I ask and Steve nods.

"It was fun he was nice, intrigued by my necklace" I nod taking a sip of my coffee looking over to Bucky who was watching the TV "where is your necklace" Steve asked, I always put it away after a special occasion which is what I always wore it for. Jewellery wasn't a big thing for me but that necklace was.

"I put it away like I always do" Steve never knew the origin of that necklace especially since Bucky gave it to me after he snuck out of his house and climbed up to my window, Steve would have never become his friend if he knew that his best friend snuck out to see his sister.

I make Bucky's coffee "here grumpy" I say placing it in front of him, sitting next to him eating my cereal "thanks" he mumbles "how did you enjoy the party Buck" Steve asked, he didn't enjoy it from what I gathered.

"I didn't, I just sat there drinking beer and eating food" Which was true but he left out the fact that he was constantly staring at me it was his overprotective jealous thing he had, but I never hated him for it I was always thankful.

"can you believe Wade Wilson bet on me?" I say shocked, I'm surprised Wade would want to win a lunch with me since I shot him in the ass a bunch of times so I could prove a point "anyone would bet on you Gigi I'm sure Bucky did too" Steve says looking up from the newspaper and I look at Bucky.

"well yeah but that was to support the cause at least I didn't buy a thousand tickets to go on a date when I could just ask her" he says taking a sip out of his coffee, he was right he could ask me whenever he wanted.

Steve shoots me a look similar to the look I often shoot Bucky "what" I say drinking the leftover milk from my cereal "you would just say yes to Bucky but when Jonothan asks you need to be convinced" Steve says and I shrug.

I had known Bucky longer than Jonothan whom I had just met last night "I've known Bucky since like birth right?" I say and they both nod "so it makes sense" I say my point still standing "Bucky is hopeless at being romantic so a date with him could never come to light" I say and Bucky gives me a half-smile.

Bucky would never ask me on a date granted I was his best friend's sister but I don't think he would even if I wasn't. 

"Anyways Jonothan and I have a lunch date in an hour or two and I am supposed to be meeting him out front of the tower so I will be seeing you both later," I say grabbing my coat "date?" Bucky says and I nod "mhm" I don't think he liked that idea but it doesn't matter.

I kiss him and Steve on the cheek "have a good time Gigi" Steve smiles and I smile back standing on the teleporter device thing and it sends me to the tower "Tony" I yell, the tower was huge so I wasn't surprised if the genius wasn't on the same floor as me.

I walk out to the elevator going to the ground floor when an arm stops it "Georgia" Thor says with a great big smile "Thor" I smile giving him a hug and he makes small talk when I remember I forgot my watch but it wasn't special so I didn't mind.

I see Jonothan standing at reception "I bear gifts" he says immediately noticing me walking up to me kissing my cheek "m'lady" he smiles handing me a small box "What Jonothan no I haven't done anything to deserve it" I say surprised "It's free" he chuckles and I open it.

A necklace? no a bracelet no a ring? "It's a bracelet yeah I know looks a lot like other things" he chuckles and I put it on "its so beautiful thank you" I smile "not as beautiful as you" he says "you are disgusting" I laugh "yeah I'm glad you don't like cheesy lines at least I don't have to pretend" he smiles grabbing my hand taking me to his car.

It wasn't that I didn't like cheesy lines it just didn't roll off his tongue smoothly, Bucky would kill him just for that line. I mean Bucky has said lines like that to me before but when he said it, it was nice, it made me not hate my appearance by just a little bit more.

We went out to a café and Jonothan bought my lunch and drinks, well honestly I'd hope so I haven't been on dates since well the forties so I didn't know how these things have changed.

My phone buzzed a few times but I chose to ignore it since well nothing important happens to a 100-year-old nowadays does it.

"So what is the deal with you and James? is it?" James??? "Who is James?- oh shit nevermind" I say slapping myself internally, I was so used to calling Bucky, Bucky that I forgot his real name "Bucky yeah he's a great friend of mine, very protective" I smile and Jonothan nods taking a sip of his tea.

"I noticed yeah" Jonothan says "he seems overly protective of you like a big brother thing" everyone always said that Bucky is like the eldest sibling type of bullshit but it was never like that. When I was young I was in love with Bucky, the day he gave me my necklace was the day I had established that.

I fell out of love years after Bucky had 'died' in '45 he was 28 and I was 25 turning 26. Thank Jonothan for making me think about that.

"no, he's just a family friend, been around since well I'd like to say birth but since I hit puberty" I chuckle sipping my water. Jonothan nods I could tell something Bucky said to him annoyed him "Bucky isn't accepting of new people in my life so if he said something to you last night just forget it" I smile to him and he nods.

"yeah right" Jonothan chuckles.
