I sipped my coffee cautiously while the others except Jeremy and Bonnie gulped down shots of blood. “If you are done princess, can we get on with the story? We have a life” Caroline rolled her eyes at me and tilted her head.
I laughed and said “Life? You are dead”
“You wanna die bitch?” she asked, walking towards me. I dropped the coffee mug on the table, jumped over the couch and to the other side. “In case you forgot, I'm faster” and within a second she was standing next to me, holding me by the shoulders and staring at me. “Don’t compel me!” I shouted and shut my eyes tightly.
“Caroline leave her alone” Elena requested.
“No, Elena. She is wasting our time with some lame story. Let’s just compel her and get the whole thing out”
“I'll tell you everything. Let me go” . She pushed me and walked back to the couch. Since when did Caroline become so annoying? I thought.
“Okay. So, at Paula University one of the main subjects they focus on is Vampires. They don’t tell any of the students about this when they come for admission. They tell them later. It’s a choice. Very few opt for this subject since they know how dangerous it is. I mean, you could go on a rampage and kill all my classmates” I looked at Damon. He smirked, wickedly.
“Anyway, so we were assigned a project last week. Out of 20 students, 19 chose to prove that Vampires are dangerous and need to be killed. Made extinct or so scared that they don’t lay an eye on Mystic Falls again. In case you haven’t noticed, your place is under surveillance. Only the outside. Nobody dared to come inside the house and return home in one piece. We were shown clips and video footage of people being killed, necks being snapped, originals, witches, hunters, travelers, humans, a massacre. Oh and of course, werewolves. We’ve been tracking your every move. The city council appointed us to decide on behalf of the people, based on our research if it’s a good idea to let you live. Besides, you guys are the only vampires left in town. And I doubt Klaus would grieve or mourn for you. For Caroline, maybe”
“Okay, so…..you are here to kill us?” Stefan asked.
“Have you being listening or not? 19 chose to prove you to be bad” I paced before them.
“She is number 20” Bonnie said and gave me a half smile.
