"Hey" Veronica says as she plops down next to Alex who was sitting on a gurney in a hallway. "So I heard something."

"Yeah?" Alex asks even as he doesn't look up from his book.

"Meredith told me you gave up an ulcer, willingly. And that you think this is your last day at the hospital." she says as she looks at him.

Alex sighs as he sets his book down to look at her. "I have my exam tomorrow which pretty much defines my future. If I fail it will be my last day as an intern."

"IF you fail." Veronica repeats ,"But I know you won't."

"Yeah? How do you know that. I failed once, what says I won't fail again?"

"I do. You didn't have me then, now you do. And you have studied well Alex. I helped you study. I know you won't fail. OK? Don't lose hope before the exam."

Alex sighs looking down, "I don't know Vee.."

"Alright cut the bullshit. I will help you revise ok? And then you are gonna go tomorrow and kick the exams ass. Alright?"

"Alright." he says as he looks at her feeling a bit hopeful.

Then Vee spends her entire day taking turns with the other interns as they all help him practice for his practical.

"Hey" Alex says coming into the locker room as Veronica was tying her scarf getting ready to leave as her shift had just ended.

"hey" she mumbles not looking up.

"I got my results."

"I know. Izzie told me." she replies sitting down beside him on the bench.

"I am surprised you didn't ask me to open them. Everyone else has."

"These literally determine your future. I figured you were a bit nervous, I dint wanna bother you."

"I was, I mean I am." he replies looking at her.

"Here" he hands her the envelope.

"Huh? What do you want me to do with this?" she asks looking confused holding up the envelope.

"Can you.. Uh.. Open them?"

"You want me to open it?"

"Yeah."

"Are you sure? I mean wouldn't you rather ask Iz?"

"Izzie, she means a lot to me even though we are broken up. But you mean more. I mean you are my person."

"I am your person." Veronica smiles looking touched. "Fine, if you pass you get pizza."

"and if I fail?"

"I will buy it." Veronica replies shrugging her shoulder as she opens the envelope reading the letter.

"I KNEW IT!" she smiles "You passed bitch!" she exclaims hugging him as he smiles.

"I passed?" he whispers.

"Yes you did. I told you would." Veronica smiles looking elated and Alex laughs out happily.
