Veronica stands in the Or, her hand still in the patients abdomen, as Dylan straps on a safety vest on her, already wearing one himself.

Meredith and Christina are also wearing vests, as Meredith pumps the ambu bag.

"You realise how stupid that was?" Dylan asks her

"It was Vee" Christina adds on nodding her head.

"I am standing with my hand on a bomb and a stranger is velcroing a flak jacket to my boobs. Believe me , I know. " Veronica says.

"You have got a sense of irony" Dylan looks at her

"Only when things are really ironic."

"You shouldn't have pushed me." Meredith whispers as her eyes shine with tears.

Veronica looks ta her softly, "Of course I did. Don't blame yourself."

"I had a feeling" Meredith says seeming to listen to Veronica, before changing the subject. Vee and Chris widen their eyes and look at her with disbelief.

"what are you talking about?" Dylan asks confused.

"oh. Nothing" they say dismissively.

Burke comes in to the Or then going straight to Christina. "you need to go."

"No, I am staying" she refused stubbornly.

"There's nothing more you can do here. We've got it covered. Cristina, this is not another clueless surgery. This ammo can go off at any time and kill everyone in this room. Do you get that? You cannot be in here" he tries to explain to her.

"It's not about the surgery." Christina says frustrated.

Burke whispers something to Christina which makes her face soften as she looks at Vee and Mer, as if to ask permission.

"GO Chris" Vee says softly.

"You know in the movies how there's always the heroes and then there's the other guy? You know the guy who sees danger and runs in the opposite direction?" she asks burke.

"yes."

" Be the other guy." she tell shim as she turns to walk away before stopping at the door.

"Mer?" she questions.

"I am staying." she says

"Meredith" Vee warns.

"No you need someone. And besides needs to squeeze the ambu bag." she says firmly.
