Later, Parish was in the kitchen as she watched the water boil in the pot. She reached her hand to grabbed the pot only to burn her hand. "Ouch!" she exclaimed as Li stared at her behind the wall. "My lady, your tea." Li told her as she rest the cup in front of Parish who nodded her head. She grabbed the tea and took a sip of it before she opened her eyes. "This cheap shit tastes awful." Parish said as Li glanced down at her. "It's the only thing I can find in the house. It can't be helped, ma'am." Li told her as Mira came down and walked to Li.

"Why is all of this happening? What's even going on..." Parish asked as she rest the cup on the table. "Hey, Li. Is the water still hot?" Mira asked Li as she nodded her head and brought her to the kitchen. She made her tea as they walked back to the table Parish was at. 'Not just the zombies... Even Noah... I can't seem to read that man at all anymore... They said he has superpowers... and that he killed Ian... Ian...' Parish thought as she gripped the handle of the cup in her hand. "Li, you went to check on Neo, right? How is he?" Parish asked Li as Mira went back up the stairs but she stayed close enough to hear but far enough so they wouldn't see her.

"Master Neo seemed fine. He was feeding his dog when I went to check up on him. He was also talking with Mira but she was here so I guess she went to finish 'playing' in his room." Li told her as Mira watched her eyes having a dead look in them. "I can't believe he's still keeping that thing... And that girl... Something's off about her." Parish said staring down at the table. "... About Noah... his injuries..." Parish said as she barely got the words out when she spoke to Li. "Master Noah is perfectly fine now. Please do not worry. You heard him yourself, his wounds weren't caused by an undead. He won't turn." Li informed her as Parish turned to her.

"That's not what I meant! And don't talk to me with that tone of voice. I know you serve a special role to Noah. But don't forget who's the Master here." Parish told Li as she slammed the cup on the table narrowing her eyes at her. "I only have one Master and that is Master Noah Collins. I may be a maid in your household, but I'm not obligated to take orders from you." Li said staring at her coldly. "What's with your attitude?!" Parish asked Li as she gritted her teeth before slamming her hands on the table standing up.

"Forgive me for speaking bluntly. But ma'am, Master Noah has been severely injured twice for our sakes, but as his wife, you were never there to take care of him. Last night when everyone wanted to kill him, you didn't say anything either. You didn't come to see him. You didn't even ask a word about him. Even Mrs. Lena could do better than you and she is only his sister-in-law." Li told her as Parish glanced down at the table. "I..." Parish said but didn't finish knowing what Li said was right. "If you don't have anything else for me to do here I'll take my leave. We need to get ready for the long trip." Li said before she walked away.

Mira walked past Li silently with her head down as Li stared at her. "Parish...." Mira called out to her as said woman looked at her. "You will watch how you speak to Li. And you will treat her with the same respect as normal humans. If you dare shout at her and tell her to watch her place again. I don't care if you're Abel or Neo's mother. I will kill you myself. And you better watch how you speak to Neo while I'm around. So I'll advise you to head my warning." Mira told her as her eyes turned red glaring into Parish's soul as she trembled. Mira turned around and grabbed Li's hand dragging her away from Parish before heading to Neo.

"Every one of you... It's not like... he even wants me to care. I'm an eyesore to him... I'm the last person he'd want to look at." Parish said trembling from fear as take in Mira's words. 'But why? What happened?' Parish thought to herself. "I thought the situation got better..." Parish said out loud. 'Even though we were only spouses in a nominal sense. We slept in separate rooms. And he no longer wanted to look at me. I thought he at least tolerated me... because of Abel. I pushed my luck and got back to Ian. I'm aware... nothing escaped Noah's eyes. But he never confronted me about it... He was... fine with it. And now Ian is dead... Killed by Noah...' Parish thought as she laid her head on the table.
