Chapter 13

Noah's P.O.V
Time moved in slow motion as Ian grabbed Neo and threw him towards the horde of zombies. Neo eyes widened in shock as he fell down. "Neo!!!" a voice yelled causing Mira and I to look back in horror. I saw Neo falling as he was shocked. "Neo!!" I shouted his name before I saw Mira jumped up and grabbed Neo holding him as they fell down. "They're going to die." A voice said in my head. "Neo and Mira won't die. They're strong-" I tried to convince myself as I was cut off by the voice. "They will die. They will die." The voice said as it began to fade.

Mira's P.O.V
As we neared the zombies I felt something stop us. I looked back along with Neo and saw a red wall separating us from the zombies. Some of it stabbed through some of the zombies. I looked up and saw Mr.Collins holding his right arm that was bloody. "Master Noah..." Li said as she looked at him surprised. I looked at him surprised and thankful as Neo glanced at Mr.Collins."Get back here you two. They'll try to squeeze through the gaps." Mr. Collins told us as he held his hand out to us.

"I know. I'm not stupid." Neo said as he stood up and grabbed my hand as we rushed up the stairs. "You-.... What the heck are you?" Ian asked Mr. Collins as he kept his head down as if he was remembering something. "You... I saw you throw him. What did he even do to you?" Mr.Collins asked his brother as he looked at him angrily not caring about the blood dripping form his hand.

"It was an accident! Besides you never cared about him anyway. Don't suddenly act like you give a damn! Didn't you always go around yelling that he wasn't even your son to begin with?!" Ian shouted at Mr.Collins as his eyes widened at what Ian said. "You threw a child into a horde of monsters. Does it matter if I care or not? You never changed, Ian." Mr.Collins said as he walked closer to Ian his facial expression looked liked he got tired and snapped.

"W-What are you doing?" Ian questioned his brother frightened by what he would do. "I've changed my mind. This timeline is better off without you." I heard Mr.Collins say and I got confused by what he meant by 'timeline'. That's when I saw Mr.Collins push Ian into the horde of zombies. "Noah you bastard!!" He shouted before the zombies began to bite him and you could hear him cry out in pain. "You-" Theo began to say but was cut of by Mr.Collins.

"Go." Mr.Collins told everyone but no one moved as they tried to comprehend what happened. "Didn't you hear me? Go while I can still open the way for you all. Unless you want to wait for the ones from the upper level to catch up to us." Mr.Collins said to us as he again told us to go on ahead. "Just go. We can talk later." Valens told everyone as they left. "Neo, go on ahead. I'll help Mr.Collins." I told him before I ran past Mr.Collins with the knife in hand. I jumped off the stairs stabbing a zombie in the head. Then I swiped a zombie in the neck that tried to come up behind me.

As I saw Li, walk past me I grabbed the bat from her. I smashed one zombie in the head, while I kicked the other one away from me. I saw something red stab the zombie that I kicked away and saw Mr.Collins held his hand out. I nodded at him telling him thanks before I attacked another one. After we cleared the path I saw Mr.Collins holding his chest so I went up to him and grabbed his hand and allow him to use me for support as we exit the mall.

"We...actually made it out." Wyn said as his hands were on his knees breathing heavily. "Are you okay?" Azael asked Esther who was on the ground breathing just as heavy as Wyn. "I'm still alive... I'm still alive..." Esther said tiredly replying to Azael's question. "Master, you look pale..." Li said as she saw me holding Mr.Noah. "I'm fine, Li. And thank you for your help, Mira." He said to me as I smiled at him before making my way towards Neo.

Noah's P.O.V
'That used more blood than I wanted... I've gotten a but rusty... But, I guess it's fine. Thanks to Mira's help, even though I used alot of blood, I used less than I would have if it was only me. What's more important is...' I thought as I glanced back at Neo who looked at me. "I'm glad you're unharmed." I told him as I gave him smile. I saw him widened his eyes at my statement and he gripped his backpack. I saw Mira looked at me as if she was expecting something to happen.
