The deal got sealed. The merge of cartoon dimension and the human world collided and things got ugly.

When the dust settled, there were few standing buildings in each town and city. The truth is that every place got their own counterpart city. When world merged, so were supposed to happen to the people or at least that is what we were told. The truth is that the population doubled but so did the space. It was weird but everything got slightly further away. Just because there was more space on earth didn't mean there was more space for things to face through but sure people got crushed by the new objects.

It wasn't supposed to be like this. It was supposed to be a gift from the goddess. Where where you, big C? Where where you?

From a big crack on the pavement a yellow head popped out and see if the dust got settled. It probably got as calm as it was ever gonna get. The red eyed yellow creature came out of the hiding place. The creature was around a meter high without counting the tall pointy ears. His eyes, round cheeks and shoe details were red while the ear tips, marks on back and electric bolt shaped tail and main part of the shoe were black. He wore white socks and gloves and had his eyes somehow be part of the same item without being a cyclops. He tapped the floor with the tip of his big right shoe and rubbed his left arm as he looked around. Groans of people could be heard alongside distant screams. He felt like had to do something when a blue blur passed by him. One by one people started popping into the streets. As fast as he saw the hint of blue so started seeing in the distance buildings being lifted and puffs of debre and other parts of buildings being broken to let people out.

The yellow thing chose to start helping. After all he would be useless if did nothing. He got in a tilting building by jumping into the front broken glass doors and started rushing inside as fast as he  could. It was full of victims. One by one he carried them in his arms outside. He grew tired soon enough and once he made sure everyone was out, he took a breather.

From the right side a water bottle came and touched his cheek, making him jump in place. He quickly looked at the aggressor only to see a fellow cartoon character. The creature was as tall as he was with long floppy ears. His body was orange and covered in dust but not a scratch on his brown nuzzle, or inside of ears, or hands; or what he could see from slightly lewd clothes; brown chest. His yellow pupils not quite looking into his mono eye but slightly away from the yellow creature's face.

"Here. You worked hard." Said the orange bunny.

"Oh. Thanks." Said the yellow creature and smiled awkwardly as he accepted the cold drink. "Where did you get this from?"

"A fridge fell on me so it chose me. Now all the drinks are mine."

The yellow creature snickered despite the bunny's monotone, until he saw the nearby fallen fridge with the unhinged door and content spilled all over the pavement.

"Oh no."

"Yeah. Is ok. Better me than someone else, right?"

It wasn't a joke after all. The bunny brushed the glass shards off his short black hair and smiled at the creature.

"Do angels got names?"

The yellow creature blinked and nodded. "I guess they do." The bunny looked visibly uncomfortable and got fidgety with a big piece of glass, not getting scratched or cut at all.

"What about you? Do you have a name?"

The yellow creature shook his head. "No. Never got a master. I am the electric hedgehog. Well, not "The". I am "an" electric hedgehog."

The bunny cupped his chin with his left hand as he dropped the piece of glass and soon snapped his fingers. "Electric. Your name now is Electric!" At least he seemed proud of himself.

"Yes sir." Said Electric as he saluted like a militar person. "What about you?"

The bunny answered as he looked around. "Eh... Pick project n°2 but... Pickchu is better." He then looked back at Electric and blinked. "Is this the land that the goddess promised to us?"

Electric looked around at the destruction and heroes saving people. "I guess this is our new home."
