Richie slowly bent down to pick up the box. He opened it up and saw an old game coin.

· Flashback 3 yrs. ago

"Hi! I'm y/n! You're Richie, right? I always seem to see you in here." Y/n said sweetly.

"Uh, Ya. My name's Richie." The boy said back.

"Well Richie, could I interest you in a game of Street Fighters?" Y/n asked.

"Sure, but be ready to get your ass kicked," Richie responded.

After a minute or two, y/n ended up winning.

"I want a rematch," Richie demanded.

The two played several more rounds, and eventually y/n won 7 and Richie only won 4.

"Damn you're good at this," Richie commented.

"Thanks! My brother and his friends play a lot, so I practice in my free time to get better than them." The girl explained.

"Y/n! Come on! We need to get ho- who is this?" Y/n's dad asked, not liking that she was talking to a boy.

"He's just someone I met. We were playing Street Fighters!" Y/n told him.

"Well, we need to get home so say goodbye to your boyfriend so we can leave." He said angrily.

"Bye Richie! See you around!" She said, trying to sound happy.

Y/n was then dragged away by her father, not giving Richie time to say goodbye.

"Why was officer Bowers so angry at you? And who's that girl?" Eddie asked.

"That girl was Y/n Bowers, Henry's younger sister. I don't know why he was so angry though." Richie explained.

· End flashback

"We need to get to the arcade," Richie stated.

"But it's already 5, we wouldn't have enough time to get there before it closes," Beverly said.

"You're forgetting one thing, we have a car." Belch said.

Everyone started running back to Henry's house. Once everyone got there, they all crowded into the car, Belch in the driver's seat, Vic on the center console, and Patrick in the passenger seat with Henry in his lap. All the losers were stuffed in the back.

"I've got a few rules." Belch said as he started the car. "One, no feet on the seats. Two, no yelling it fighting. Three, don't do anything that could damage the car in any way."

They raced to the arcade as fast as the speed limit would let them, as to not get pulled over and a cop sees how many people are in the back. Once they got to the arcade, Richie and Henry were the first two people out, followed by Stan and Vic, then everyone else by the time those four got to the door. Not because they were too busy to get out, but because those four were out of the car before they could even blink. The Stan and Henry bit made sense because Henry was y/n's brother and everyone had just found out Stan kissed y/n. Everyone also assumed Richie just wanted to get out of the car and away from Patrick, but Victor being one of the fastest people out didn't make sense to them, for now of course. By the time everyone was inside, the four had already gotten to the old 'Street Fighters' arcade game, and we're looking all around it.

"Found it!" Richie exclaimed.

This time it wasn't a poem, it was a picture. I picture with specific spots blurred out and an x in the top left.

"I know where that is," Mike said.

"Well then where is it homeschool?" Patrick asked.

"We won't have time to all make it there and be back by curfew, but it's right by my house so I could get it and bring it tomorrow," Mike told.
