After letting Lucy sit at the side and sitting in front of the high fae Jiang Daren I felt the pressure one feels in the council.

He looked at me no different than he does to a convict fae. And started questioning. "Tell me everything you and Zhao xiaojie did that day."

This bofu I didn't know but spill everything. After listening to it bofu just looks at me for a few seconds, without saying anything. "Did you just say you asked her if she likes Wang Yibo?"

"Yeah, I mean I didn't know it was Wang Yibo." I was confused why this was the key point to anything.

But the next thing bofu said triggered something in the room. The room turned surprisingly cold and humid. "Do you know who Wang Yibo is, ZhanZhan?"

"No he doesn't. And he won't."

I look at dad at his sudden outburst to what bofu said. We all forgot for the time being that we had a human in the room. We all changed into our fae in the influence of dad's aggressive aura. And everything turned to a standstill.

We all hear a gasp and then Lucy's voice speaking.

"There was a girl, and she told me to wait!"

What?!

"Do you remember everything?" I rush to her. Forgetting I'm still in my fae form. "Lucy, tell me do you remember?"

"No I don't. I just remembered there was a girl. Who told me to wait." She looks at me with lost eyes. She was afraid, confused and lost. But I could sense her fae somewhere in the back of her mind. She is a fae. She has the essence, even though she does not have the power.

But then it registered to us that we're in our fae form and Lucy wasn't saying anything about that. I look at father and he nodded. So she knew? But it wasn't a concern to me now. I was certain I knew what was the trigger for her memories. I just couldn't quite point my finher to the exact reason. I have to find out. I must find out.

I look at Lucy's eyes and ask her. "Does that girl look like me?"

"A-Zhan!"

"ZhanZhan!"

I didn't know why both dad and bofu was shocked, but if Lucy was the key to changing my fate, I need to know how. And fast. I'm too pressurised by this destiny and purpose thing. I just want this to be over with and go back to my normal life.

But little did I know that normal life will be a myth for me from now.

A whole month of hustle and a few hundreds of design later when I went to finalize the design I realised what jerk of a CEO I was working with. I was on my way to the meeting room of W management when I heard some notices on the corrider by the entrance of the elevator.

Curiosity got the best of me and I went to see what was going on. I mean I shouldn't do this and I was here for work but my nature was as such. I could never rest till I quench my curiosity. Maybe someone need help!

But when I reached to the source of the noise I saw two figures standing there. Intertwined. A female figure and a male. Kissing.

So, you're no saint either, Mr. Wang Yibo.

The woman disentangle herself from the body of the male god. But his face showed no emotion at all. From the expression on his face it was evident he was going to say something. And whatever it is, it's no good.

"Now you know I don't feel anything for you. I just let you do that because of the privilege you have of being my brother's friend."

This shocked the woman. I thought bit was mutual. But looks like it wasn't. That's a relief! Wait! Why am I relieved? Stop it brain. Stop thinking weird stuffs.

Wang Yibo was leaving the place when he suddenly stopped. He turned around to look at the lady standing there, still shocked. I couldn't see his expression, but it definitely wasn't pretty.

"Oh, and, you're fired!"

And then he was gone.

Just like that? You fire someone so easily? They might actually need the job! Not everyone has the privilege of being born with a silver spoon.

I was conversing with myself in my head when a slow breathing in my ear caught me off guard.

"Eversdropping isn't a very good thingto do, Mr. Xiao Zhan."

I was shocked would be an understatement.

"Don't surprise me like that will you?" I was pissed. But I was also very comfortable with whatever situation I was in. It's like I wasn't caught red handed eversdropping on Wang Yibo just firing an employee. But what's that to me? I was here to finalize the design. I'll do that and leave.

Then it'll be over and I'll be free to be the vice president of Jiang corps. I'll have the position and influence I need.

But this wang Yibo was making it too hard.

In the meeting room he rejected the design again. And this time I was really pissed and ready to throw fists.

A smirk graced those godly lips as of he was enjoying my anger to the fullest. "You want me to tell you the truth?"

"Yes. What else?"

"You!"

You did not just say that! I calm myself down by taking deep breaths. I need to handle this very carefully. I'm the fute vice president of the Jiang corps. I can do better.

I put smile on my face. And try to convince the most stubborn person in the world. "Mr. Wang."

But he interrupts me. "Mr. Wang is my father. You can call me Yibo."

Now this is too much. He's openly flirting with me.

"See. Mr. Wang Yibo." I emphasize on the word Wang. "I'm here to finalize this design. If you don't like it tell me what exactly you need very clearly and seriously."

"I'm serious. I want you!"
