This message is very important to me so I'd appreciate if you read it fully, it's not very long :)

Hello! I just want to say thank you for all the support on this story. It's been almost 2 years since I started this and I'd just like to say a few more things.

I've seen the emotional impact this has had on people reading this, and I'm glad.

My intentions :

My intentions with this story were simple, but hard to portray. At the start, you learn about the common case of regret, people who attempt suicide get. At the last moment they realise it wasn't the right decision. And they're lucky to survive, but not everybody does. I wanted people reading this who are struggling to see it from an outside perspective.

You heard about the regret being acknowledged at the beginning, and then the regret in the ending too, it comes full circle.

And I know some people reading this have probably struggled with their mental health and suicide. I wanted this story to show the beginning and end to someone's mental health journey that could've ended so differently.

Suicide is not the way to escape, it's not the only option. It shouldn't even be an option.

A few months after finishing this story, I took an attempt on my life. And I regret it hugely, that's how my parents found out about my mental health issues, seeing them worry the way they did and how eager they were to help me. I know not everybody receives the same affection or support from parents / guardians but trust me when I say, there is another way out. Even just talking to someone, anyone. Can make such a huge difference, never be afraid to ask for help.

Asking for help, is just the first step in the right direction, I believe in you and love you so much ♡
