Warm your soul in the fire of my comfort,
Put your coat on the hook by the door,
And swaddle yourself in my embrace.
I'll sing you to sleep with a melody unknown to you,
But it's low and soft and you smile on your way to rest.
You'll dream of the sand,
Warm as my arms,
Calming as my voice that has brought you back to the world.
As a wave makes it way to the shore in dream land,
Slowly but still with power,
Your eyes open and you smile as you realize I am still there,
Still holding you through the break you so needed,
And I tell you that you'll never have to wake alone again if you do not please,
And that my songs can be the soundtrack to your slumber as long as you allow them to be.
You are my sun,
My moon,
My stars,
And all of the planets to me.
And I shall worship you as astronomers do the universe.
Until the end of our forever.
