Yo what's up I was bored so I did this. Unless said otherwise, this is from Clove's POV, so don't get confused ig. Hope you like it!

I wake up at 4:00 am precisely. As I swing my legs over the side of my cot, I go over my plan for today:
1. Train before everyone else gets up.
2. Train with the others, perhaps some friendly competition.
3. On Tuesdays, Master Wu always asks me to go get supplies. Today is Tuesday.
4. When I return to the monastery, I train again.
5. After, I eat a quick dinner with the other two ninja-in-training.
6. Train more.
7. Go to bed.

With my feet planted firmly on the floor, I tell myself, Today will be productive. If I train hard enough, I will stay Sensei's prized pupil. I stand, taking it my sleeping friends' faces. How can they sleep when there is so much to learn?

I slip on my plain gi, and enter the training yard. The sweet silence of the early morning eases my tired body. A soft breeze fluffs my mousy, light brown hair with dark green tips. I start with some simple target practice with my throwing knives, missing two out of ten throws. Not good enough. Again. So I do it again. And again. But I just can't get them all.

I hear the others stirring in their cots. How the time passes when I'm training. I wait for them, hiding in the shadows.

"Ugh, why do we have to wake up so early?" complains Starla, long, dark hair pulled into a ponytail.

"For shit's sake, Starla, shut up!" snaps Grale, his light blonde hair already swept up into an elegant wave on his head.

"Good morning," I say, stepping into the open.

Both Grale and Starla jump, startled.

"Damn it, Clove, could you maybe NOT SNEAK UP ON US LIKE THAT?!" exclaims Grale.

"Well, as ninja-in-training, we should all know how to sneak up on someone, and how to not get snuck up on," I reply, hoping that he doesn't come up with a snarky remark that will get us both in trouble.

"Hello, children," says Master Wu, emerging from his room.

"Hello, Sensei," we all reply in unison.

"We will be doing agility training today."

This gets a groan out of my peers, yet this is truly my favorite. Wu pulls the lever to bring the training equipment out of the ground. I immediately go to my favorite station. I turn it on and as the machine spins around, I jump above and duck under all the obstacles.

"Ah, f*ck," I hear a frustrated Grale let out. I hop off the machine and run to see what had happened. As I make my way to his station, I see that he has somehow gotten himself stuck under an obstacle, which is still spinning. I turn it off, and as it slows to a stop, I pull him out.

"You need to be more careful, you may get yourself killed some day," I gently scold him.

"Okay, students, time for one-on-one dueling. Starla and Grale, you will face each other. Clove, you are against me," interrupts Master Wu.

As I check that I still have all my knives, I sense a shift in Sensei's movement, and block him just as he is about to land a blow.

Impressed, he tries a more complicated move. I block him with ease. As I go to disarm him, he swings, attempting to knock me over, but I launch up and over his head. I quickly take his staff and knock him over, finally proud of my own abilities.

Sensei stands up, clearly embarrassed, but also proud. Grale and Starla stand to the side, staring. The energy becomes uncomfortable.

Master breaks the silence by saying "Well, students, clearly we can break early. Great job today."

Yo, I hope you liked it! I know it's really short lmao, I ran out of ideas. Gotta sleep on it, ya know?
