Clove's Pov:

I race down the steps. I know that there is almost no chance of catching up to Morro. But... I can just keep running for days. I know him well enough to guess where he went. Not to the nearby village, it's too close. Maybe to the mountain range? It's worth checking out.

---

I've been running for hours. There would've been a sign of him if he went this way. Oh! Of course! He would be looking for scrolls on the green...

---
I head to the ancient library. It's barely daybreak. He would've had to take a several breaks, so I should be close. As I enter through the large doors, something catches my eye. A slightly disheveled area, full of scrolls, looking as if a tornado had gone through it. Bingo.

I approach the spot. Morro is seated on the floor, frantically searching through a scroll.

"Can I... help you?" I say, startling him.

"What the- Clove? Why did you follow me?"

"Things got boring after you left.... It's a shame you don't actually know what you're looking for," I mused.

He looked away sheepishly. "I do know, I just haven't found it yet. Sheesh."

"Well, do you want help or not?"

"I... guess an extra pair of eyes could be of use."

I kneel down on the ground beside him. Sifting through the stack of unopened scrolls, one of them sticks out to me. I pull it out, and the seal on it is similar to that of my copy of The History of Ninjago. I nudge Morro. He looks at me and takes the scroll.

Peeking over his shoulder, the scroll said something about the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, whatever that means. I recognize Airjitzu, though.

"Hey, I know where that is!" I exclaim. "The Scroll of Airjitzu. It's held at some sacred place in the mountains."

"Okay, let's go!" he urges.

---

After a few months of travel, we reach the place. Morro bursts open the door with a strong gust of wind. Our capes blow in the cold wind. The monks, look at us with fear in their eyes. I read that they have taken a vow of silence.

We approach the place where the Scroll should be. But, to our disappointment, the glass had been shattered by what appears to be a strong hand. Morro blasts a strong breeze at a nearby monk and grabs him by the collar.

"Where is it!?" he seethes. The monk shakes his head.

"They've all taken a vow of silence. But, I believe it's been stolen by a master thief. No traces of DNA anywhere. It will be difficult to recover the Scroll," I inform him.

He drops the monk, who scurries away. "Well, do you have any leads?"

"Well, as I said, there are no traces of DNA. But, I think, if I just..." I trail off, noticing a small piece of torn glove. "Oh, this is gonna be good!"

---

I trace the glove back to a wanted criminal: Raynee Coral. "Her last reported location is Stiix, a village in the middle of a large ocean/lake hybrid," I tell Morro, while we trample through the snow.

"Well, let's get a move on." His dark eyes sparkle at the idea of an adventure.
