"We've been walking for hours," Morro complains.

"It's been, like, 30 minutes," I tell him.

"Okay, well, it's getting late and we should stop and rest. Since this area is kind of dangerous, with the freezing cold and wolves, one of us should stay watch."

"I'll take the first watch," I say, scanning our surroundings for a cave or something. "Over there. There's a cave."

We walk over to the mouth of the cave and I put my pack down. I pull out my extra blanket and hand it to him. He takes it, saying, "If you get tired, wake me up, okay?" I nod. He settles against his pack and closes his eyes. His green strip of hair falls gracefully across his face. I turn towards the entrance of the cave.

---

My eyes snap open. As I check to see if Morro is still there, I hear a growl. Shit. I scramble to my feet. Right there, in front of the cave, is a wolf. We make eye contact. It lunges towards me. I panic, and throw my arms up to cover my face. Bracing for impact, I clench my teeth. Suddenly, I feel power rushing through my arms. My hands involuntary spread out in front of me. A surge of mist comes from the tips of my fingers.  The wolf whimpers and runs off.

"What the hell was that!?" says Morro from behind me.

"That's a good f*cking question."

"Okay... Well, we should probably keep going. Who knows how long it'll take?"

---

It did, in fact, take a year to get to Stiix. Along the way I realized that I am the "Master" of Weather. That basically means I can summon clouds and mist. Together with Morro, I am unstoppable. One day, we'll rule all of Ninjago from the sky!

Once we finally reach Stiix, I start asking around for Raynee. The first person is hesitant to answer, so Morro grabs her by the shirt. She points to a small pawn shop.

// k btw they are ab 13-14 here ok that's all //

I rip off the door with a cloud hand. We stand in the doorframe, our tattered capes limp. The owner of the shop matches the description of Raynee. Morro struts to her desk. I follow behind him.

"Give me the Scroll of Airjitzu," Morro says.

"I have no idea what you're taking about," the woman says, but her eyes deceive her.

"I wouldn't lie to him if I were you," I warn, but a grin tugs at the sides of my mouth.

"I don't know what you mean!" Man, this Raynee is really dumb. I look at Morro, and he nods. Using a thick cloud, I cover her vision. As I slowly compress it, choking her, she begs me to stop.

"Okay! I'll give it to you! Just stop, please!" I drop the cloud. "It's... over there."

When we turn around, I feel her turn around and sprint towards the door. In one fluid motion, I wheel around, take my knives, and pin her to the wall. I approach her, and see the Scroll sticking out of her pocket. I pluck it out, and hand it to Morro. I reclaim my knives, and throw Raynee to the ground.

---

We book a night at the local inn.

Pacing, Morro stares at the scroll.

"What the hell does this mean!?" he says, frustrated.

"I might be able to read it."

"Wait! Sensei said something about his father's tomb... Perhaps that's where we can prove destiny wrong!"

"Good thought, but how are we supposed to find the tomb?"

"It's right here: 'The secret is in a cave of old.' That must mean the Caves of Despair."

"You mean that highly dangerous, known for lava spout, off the grid place?" I say, concerned.

"Yeah, now that you say it... But, maybe that's to keep the tomb protected?"

"Okay, it's decided. To the Caves of Despair, tomorrow."

yo yo, hru, you may be thinking, "but what about Starla and Grale back at the monastery?? yeah next part will be about them. k have a good night/day bai
