Ch-15 Fancy morning brunch

Sara

Next morning

After shower a long shower , I slip into blue denim jeans and on it a white crop top.

I grab my bag and moved towards the dining area. No one was there yet but food was already placed on the dining table. One by one I removed the lid of the containers. I groan and rolled my eyes when I noticed the food, it was French toast with blueberries and strawberries on it, lemon blueberry scones, fiddlehead bacon omelette and raspberry chocolate croissants. And for drinks there was a orange and beetroot juice placed on the table.

Too much fancy to handle just for a breakfast. "Anny" I move into kitchen while calling her. "Good morning Sara" Anny said when I enter kitchen with a small smile on her lips, which she always carry. Anny is just few years elder than my mom and she handle all the kitchen, before that she was Neil and my nanny too. When I first started speaking my mom told me that she is my nanny.

I didn't like the word nanny, so changed from nanny to Anny and I still call her by that name, she loves when I call her that instead of nanny. "Good morning" I replied with same smile. "Anny do we have bread and jam?" I asked, I don't want to eat that fancy morning brunch." You don't have to eat bread jam. I am making grilled sandwich for you. Will that be ok?" She asked. "Perfect" She knew my likes and dislikes more than my mom, as she is always busy in her hospital and Anny has always taken care of me.

"So how's your big boss?" She asked while adding mayonnaise in the veggies. Big boss is my grandma, just like I have given nick name to Anny, I call my grandma big boss from my childhood, as my grandma is big boss of the house.

"She is perfectly fine. Big boss and Aryan is missing you. Meet them whenever you are free." I said while sitting on the kitchen counter and swinging my legs. Aryan is her son. He lives with my grandma to take care of her and her whole house as well, as it's very huge house. He study as well as work too. Neil and Aryan are of the same age. "I will. When are you planning to go there next time?" She asked while looking at me.

"It depends how early these people get on my nerves." I said with a small laugh. She joined me after a second. "Whenever you are going next time, just inform me." I nodded. "Sure"

"Sara, come have your breakfast." My mom shouted probably from dining area. "Coming." I shout back. I jump from the counter. "Time to face the enemy." I said which made Anny chuckle. She knew who I am calling the enemy. "I'll bring your sandwich outside when it's ready." She said and I nodded before going back to the dining area, where my mom, Neil and my mom's new husband are sitting now.

I took a long breath before taking my seat next to my mom. I need so much patients now. "Good morning champ. It's being almost a month that when I saw you last time. How are you?" The person who is sitting next to Neil and in front of my mom said.

I frown at him, he knew it very well that I hate when he tried to be polite with me and he act more polite especially in front of my mom, so that he can show my mom that he is nice and I am bad. I agree I am bad but he is not good either.

"First of all it's Sara for you and second it's nothing good about this morning as I have seen your face already." I informed him. "Sara behave he is just being nice to you. Why are you behaving so rude always? Just apologize to him." My mom came to take his side, as usual. "Divya, it's fine." He said with a fake smile. Such a fake person and a good actor if I wouldn't have aware about his reality then maybe he will be succeed in fooling me too just like mom and Neil. I know from inside he wants to choke me to my death but he can't touch even my single hair. I want to laugh at his helplessness.

"Good morning to you too mom." I said sarcastically while ignoring her words. I know she is very angry with me, she is glaring at me. "Good morning." As she said that Anny placed my grilled sandwiches and a coffee mug. "Here is your sandwiches and coffee with no sugar and no milk. Just the way you like." I smiled at her gesture. "Thank you Anny, especially for the coffee. I really needed it." I said while taking a sip of coffee.

"No problem." By saying that she left. "Why are you eating these? There are so many delicious dishes." Mom asked. "Mom I want to sandwiches not these dishes." I said while munching my sandwich. "You are eating sandwich because you want to or you are eating it because all these dishes are Prashant's favorite?" She asked and I want laugh at her innocence.

"Mom do you think I give him that importance? You know what food is for me and you think I will not eat that food just because it's his favorite?" I said with a chuckle while continue eating my food. "It's ok" I heard that man saying to my mom. "Neil your mom told me what you said to Sara that day and I am really disappointed with you. I never expected this from you." As he said that I stopped eating and look up at Neil. So my mom knew about about it.

"He is learning this from his new dad." I said while still looking at him who is also looking at me now. "Sara, why you always blame Prashant uncle for everything?" He asked and look at his audacity. "As if you don't know." I said while standing up. "I am done with eating as well as with this drama." I said while looking at mom. She doesn't stop me or said anything, so I understood that she wants the same.

I grab my bag and left from there. As I was walking through the garden to main gate, someone called me. "Sara" I turned to look at the person. Neil was running towards me. "Can we talk?" He asked when reached to me. "About?"

"Look I know what I said that day to you was not right but I swear I didn't mean even a single word. I was just, really pissed off at that time. So I blurred out everything, which was not correct and I am really really sorry for that." He said and I was listening to him very carefully. "And I am saying this from my heart." He added.

"Neil, I got it that you are sorry but it's very difficult for me to forgive you so soon. It will take time but I'll try to forgive you soon." I said. He looked and slowly nodded "I understand and thank you." I just nodded. "Sara, can I ask you something else if you don't mind?" He asked with hesitation. "What?"

"Did you and Yashvi made up? I mean, did you forgive her? He asked again and I nodded. "But don't break her heart and this is a warning not a request." I warned him. He sighed. "What does that mean?" I asked this time. "She is not talking to me and she is really angry."

We stayed quiet for few seconds. "I can give some suggestion if you want." I said. "Really? You want to help me in this. It's quite unexpected." He said with both shock and surprise. "Do you want to listen?" I asked again. "Sure go for it." He said.

"At that day you not only insulted her best friend but her brother too. And after that her anger is normal. You have apologized to her best friend took her approval too but her brother, it looks like he doesn't like you, even before knowing about your relationship." I started my plan.

He nodded in agreement" I know he hates me." "Why?" I asked. "Because he thinks that I don't want him to become vice captain of the team." He said with a sigh. "So that's not the truth?" I asked. "Of course not, I also want him to become vice captain. He is talented." He said. "Then what's the problem?"

"My best friend Dev. If I will choose Agastya over Dev then he will think that I choose Agastya because he is Yashvi's brother and if I choose Dev then Agastya will think that I choose Dev because he is my best friend. Now you tell me what should I do? Nobody is trying to understand my situation." He said. This situation looks hard than expected.

I sighed and looked at him. "Neil tell me one thing. Playing for Indian cricket team is your dream right?" I asked and he nodded. "Suppose if same situation will happen in the Indian cricket team and you are the captain, then what you would done?" I asked.

"Just think about it and take your decision wisely. I have to go." He nodded and by saying that I left. I just hope my plan work like I planned.
