Ch-18 Cleaning together

Agastya

After dropping Sara to her home, I came back to college as I have to do my net practice. She was not looking well, her temperature was high. I don't know why but I feel something was off about her. Maybe because I have never saw her this low.

I have saw her 'always ready to fight mode' but today I have witnessed a very different Sara. I think I am over thinking, I mean it's just a fever I guess and it's normal to look weak in fever. She is Sara, she'll be fine by tomorrow and will be ready to bickering with me which is normal. By saying this to myself I went to my practice as vice captain for the first time which felt really special.

Neil and coach discussed few things with me about the match which we will have on Sunday. That will be my first match as vice captain of the team. If I am behaving like this on becoming vice captain only, I don't know I will behave when I will be captain. Well when Neil will be graduate, I will become the captain which is next year and with this thought I am getting more excited. I know it have time but I can't help it.

After net practice, I left for my home. On the way I was thinking, about today will Sara be ok, now? I drop her home in noon and it's evening already. And I realized I am again thinking about her. "Agastya" Yashvi said while standing on my room door. "I heard you become vice captain, Congrats." She said while coming inside the room. "Thanks it happened yesterday only, but who told you about this?" I asked. "Neil, we are together again." She said while sitting on a chair which is placed near my study stable.

"I see. I thought Sara told you about this." I said. "No, why would she tell me about you? And anyway I have not seen her after morning lecture. Do you know where she was? I mean you guys are now bech as well as assignment partner too." She asked while putting her one leg on another. She should never know that we are partners in one more thing.

"I drop her home, she was not well." I said. "Why? What happened?" She asked worriedly. "I don't know, we were doing our English assignment together and then suddenly face turned pale and she left for washroom. After that I drop her home." I narrated her whole incident. "I think you should call her." I suggested and she sighed.

"I will but firstly I think it's time to tell you about this." She said which made me confused. "About what?" Sara have some serious disease? Oh no! "Ok so at some age all women every month.. "

"Stop, are you teaching me about periods?" I asked with a frown. "Oh you already know about it." She said with realization. "Of course I know about periods. I am 19 , not 9." I said. "If that's the case then she should have tell me." I added.

"Who are you, her boyfriend? Why would she tell you about her periods?" She said and she is right. Why would she tell me about her periods? "Some things you should understand by yourself. Now for few days don't get angry even if she argue with you. Girls have mood swings in periods, ok?" She said and I shook my head in understanding. I have to be careful for few days. It must be very painful and girls go through with this painful process every month.

"You did a great job by dropping her home." She said with a smile.

Next day

"You need something?" Agastya asked while walking beside me. Oh god! What happened to this boy? Since morning he is being really weird. First he bought snacks, coffee for me and then he is continuously asking me questions like 'Are you ok?', 'You need something?', 'If you feel like shouting you can shout, don't hold back?'

Why the fuck I would shout in the middle of the lecture? "Agastya you have asked me this question for the tenth time since morning. I told you I don't want anything. Why are you behaving so weirdly? Are you on your periods?" I asked sarcastically while rolling my eyes. "What!? No, you are on your periods." He said looking at me. "No I am not. Who told you this?" I said and stopped at my tracks.

"You are not? The way you behaved yesterday, I thought you are on your periods." He said while standing beside me. "That's why you were behaving like that because you thought I am on my periods?" I asked when I realized that. "Then what happened to you yesterday suddenly?" He asked while ignoring my question completely.

"Nothing" I said while looking everywhere but at him. "What do you mean nothing? You were pale, your throat was not good too." He said with a frown. "Why are being so nosy? And why do you care about me? Just mind your own business, man." I said with irritation. I already give him hint that I don't want talk that incident but still he is being nosy, which I hate the most.

"You are so mean, Sara. I was just being nice with but it looks like you don't deserves it." He said with the same anger and irritation which I have. "Who told you to be nice with me? Did I? And you're right I deserve your nice behavior. So please don't be nice with me from next time." I said. "You know what Sara, go to hell." He shouted. "You too Agastya, you too." I shouted back.

"Sara and Agastya." A voice interrupted our heated argument. We look in the direction of the voice.

"This happened all because of you." I said while cleaning the glass of a window of store room. "Because of you?" Agastya asked while mobbing the floor. "Of course I was the one who started the argument right? And you did nothing." He said and sarcasm was dripping from his mouth.

"No, no I did. First I agreed with all conditions of professor shukla and then I was being so nosy." I said with same sarcasm while looking at him. In return he glare at me. "Move aside I need to mob the floor." He said coming towards me. "Mob other sides. I am cleaning the window right now." I said stubbornly while doing the same which I said.

"No I have to clean here first." He said while standing behind me. "Don't you understand a simple thing?" I shouted while facing him and suddenly he put his hand on lips, to stop me speaking any further. "Why are you shouting? Do you want more punishment?" He whisper yell while keeping his hand still on my mouth. My skin which is in contact with his hand was turning more hot every second.

We looked at each other when slowly he remove his hand from my mouth but I can still hot there. His hand which was on my mouth earlier, is now resting on my left side. It cause to reduce the gap between us. Suddenly I feel like I can't breath properly as my breaths turned heavy. I can see the same with him.

The heat which I was feeling on my lips, now the same heat I am feeling on my cheeks. I realized that the gap between our faces is reduced but the eye contact which we are having, was not ready break anytime soon. I gulp when I feel my throat is dry. He broke the eye contact first, when his eyes move to my lips and then again to my eyes. His warm breaths was fanning on my face directly. We both look away when heard some laughs.

He took few steps back while making a decent gap between us. I cleared my throat and he rub back of his neck awkwardly. Wait, we were about to kiss!? Fuck! No! I never behaved like this. How can I be so careless? And how can I let him stand so close to me? He was almost hovering me. Damn it!

"Neil, what are you doing? We are in the college, stop." Again voice came from outside while giggling but this time it sound familiar. After sharing a look , we both move towards the door of store room to see what's happening outside. We saw none other than Neil and Yashvi together.

Yashvi was moaning and Neil face was buried in her neck. We immediately look away, this was the second time when both Agastya and I witnessed there make out session. At first time I was very angry and this time I feel like I want to throw up now. I mean the thought of my best friend and brother making out was making me feel disgust and now I have witnessed that two times.

"So they are together again?" I said which was more like a question. "Isn't it obvious?." The other person said while standing beside me, I nodded. "I think it's time we should start working on our plan." I said while looking at him.

"What plan?" He said with a frown and I smirk.
