Ch-38 Panick attacks

Agastya

"Ok don't tell me anything but let me just see you. I want to make sure that you are ok." Sara's mom said and after few seconds door open with the click sound to reveal Sara standing other side of the door. She is fine. I release a breath in relief.

She look at her my mom first and then she noticed me. At first she was shocked to see me there, like she was not expecting me to be there and after that she replace it with a straight face and then immediately divert her gaze to her mom which I found little odd. Have I done something wrong? But I don't remember doing anything wrong?

"Are you ok?" Sara's mom ask while palming her cheeks. In answer she simply nodded. "Are you sure?" She asked again as she was not convinced by Sara's answer. "Yes mom. I am just tired and I need sleep, so will you excuse me now?" Sara said while removing her mom's hands from her cheeks.

"No, have your dinner first. It's already dinner time." She said which was more like a command. "I already had." Sara said.

"When? And where?" She ask. "Just before you came and at our dining table. If you don't believe me, you can ask Anny." She said while looking at Anny who was also standing there silently, just like me.

She nodded, when all of us look at her. "Now can I go back to my sleep?" Sara ask and this time her mom approved it before giving a peck on her forehead and mumbling good night.

"I'll take my leave now." I said after watching Sara, closing her room door. "Agastya wait, I need to talk to you about something. If you have time." Her mom said as I was about to leave.

"Sure" I said while nodding and trying my best not to look nervous. What she needs to talk about? Is she going to warn me to stay away from Sara or her family matters, as I am too much involving from last one month. If that's what she is going to talk about then I don't know how to answer her.

"Let's talk downstairs." By saying that she lead to downstairs living room. I took my seat on a single seater sofa whereas Sara's mom on a l- shaped six seater couch, which is placed next to mine.

"I don't know how to start... Agastya you are very well aware of the situation between me, Sara and Prashant, right?" She said while looking at me.

"Umm... Yeah I guess." I nervously said and intertwined my fingers in my lap. My palms are moist in sweat, all thanks to my nervousness. She nodded before continuing with a sad smile. "You must be thinking of me as a bad mother to Sara."

"Aunty, it's not important what I think. It's about Sara and I am sure, she will feel really bad if you call yourself a bad mother. She really loves and adores you." I tried to comfort her.

"Agastya you know, you are really good at comforting people. Maybe that's why, you become so close to Sara in such a short period of time. Aarav, her father was also good at comforting people." She said with a dreamy smile.

Did she gave me a complement? Maybe that's why I am feeling shy as I slowly rub the back of neck with a silly grin.

Why this thought making me feel happy that Sara's father and I have one thing in common? Did Sara noticed that?

"Back to earth young man." I heard her saying while clearing her throat which made me look at her. Ok, so after being nervous, now I am embarrassed too. "What were you saying?" I tried to change the topic while hiding my embarrassment.
