" No how about we stick to you?Problems at home?" What's she doing here? Elizabeth isn't even in my English class."What are you doing here Liz?" Aaron asked. Maybe she pissed him off just as much as she pissed me off but this is my business and he needed to but out.
" I was just passing by, and call me lily".lily? He seemed to be wondering the same thing because he turned his head to me making eye contact, confusion evident on his face. My face probably mirrored his. Everyone calls me lily, why is she trying to claim that nickname now? She's gone by Liz for years why is she suddenly changing?
"Miss Jennings, could you step out of my class, please? " May's patience seemed to be hanging on by a thread, it's such a pity that she needs to remain mature. Teachers should be able to beat a bitch I swear.
" I don't see the problem. Do you have a problem with me being here May?" Stepping forward she began twirling May's hair between her fingers. Batting her lashes while looking at her she says " That's what I thought. Now let me hear you say I'm welcomed here, tell me I'm welcomed May."
Taking a seat on Aaron's desk she crosses her legs looking back at May.
" What's taking you so long huh? Don't know how to greet a student?"Staying professional May kept her cool, I don't know how she did it. "I'd appreciate it if you left my class. I don't think you have a problem comprehending what I'm saying now. do you miss Jennings, leave before I remove you myself ". The class snickered at her response leaving Elizabeth hopping off the table embarrassed.
" Fine, I'll leave". She said storming out of the classroom.
" Alright class back to the topic at hand, Lily, why don't you tell me the real reason you don't like the game?"
I loved May but she was beginning to get on my nerves, why was it so hard for people to stay out of my business? Do people think my life is that interesting, to the point where they feel the need to pressure me to talk about something I don't want to?
"Like I said before, can we move on to someone else?" I said in a more stern voice, being mean to her was the last thing I wanted to do. Especially if I do it for something so simple.
Now, Never Kiss And Tell is basically Bluedale and Bluedale Prep's little tradition. I'm not sure when they started it but I didn't care, well I don't know. I used to care, but that was long ago.
Every year the day before the first day of school, the school sets up a game for the new seniors. It's similar to a treasure hunt but different. They give each carefully picked pair a card with hints leading them both to the same spot either around town or the campus.
You have to follow the clues and basically, the treasure you get when you end up at the location is a kiss, or a make-out session, whatever floats your boat.
It didn't seem weird when I was a kid but now it does, just a bunch of grown adults making teens kiss, kinda disgusting if you ask me.
The whole thing seems easy, it is, other than the fact that we're supposed to be too drunk or tipsy to remember who you locked lips with that night. Then they have fun making us guess who we kissed by senior prom.
