"It's a cruel summer".

The music played in my ears as I moved my boxes around. Summer had finally come to an end and school will be starting in less than 3 days.

Why do I have boxes? Well... no Let's just say I don't wanna go around the house anymore and if I can have a lot of my stuff here then I won't need to go there often.

As I finished unpacking my stuff I unplugged the earphone and let the music play out loud. One bed, you know what that means? It means no Aaron.

I came yesterday and saw one bed and it's weird yes but, when you get what you want are you going to complain? Absolutely not.

Sweat was running down my forehead, cheeks, and back. It was all over. Don't get me wrong, I'm freezing, I'm not sure why since I'm sweating this much but I don't really think it matters.

I finished studying about the body years ago and naturally, any sensible person would go to the doctor if they notice things like this happening to them but this isn't the first time.

It's been happening ever since I was young, I can recall being brought to the doctor once, mom obviously didn't like what they told her so she didn't bring me back.

I don't think anything is wrong with me, I'm not sick or anything, if I was I'm sure she would've brought me back or at least bring me somewhere else.

And no I won't check google, never check google.

Anyway, as I finished putting the last thing away I sluggishly made my way over to the bed.

It was still bright out but, I'm so exhausted. Pulling the sheets over my body I lay there with my eyes closed waiting for sleep to take me over. Unfortunately, it seemed like sleep had other plans, my mind was very much active and I just couldn't sleep.

Let's be real, why is it that the moment I want to sleep I'm thinking about Spongebob and his weird obsession with Squidward? Like come on brain stop this nonsense, I'm tired for goodness sake.

It had been quite some time since I fell asleep. I'm not sure when I did but outside was pretty dark. Feeling something cold on my forehead I placed my hand there feeling a cold wet rag.

Taking it off my forehead I pushed myself up into a sitting position spotting a small metal basin on the floor beside the bed.

At first, I wondered who it could be, asking myself if they gave me a new roommate that just happened to be sweet enough to try helping me out even though I'm not sick.

But then I spotted a yellow sticky note on my pillow. " You're old enough to take care of yourself, Lillian, don't let it happen again".

I quickly grabbed it, bringing it close to my face while reading it aloud mockingly.
