1 year later
Eddie was now a Marsh and Beverly was his very cool sister. He still saw Sonia twice a month and he still called her mom because that's what he had done for the last 17 years. He had also not yet told his new mom that he was dating Richie.
"EDDIEEE GET YOUR ASS UP ITS LIKE 1:30 PM." Beverly yelled from downstairs.
Eddie groaned. "OKAY I'M COMING."
He then got up and walked downstairs. Beverly and her aunt, Carrie, were sitting down at the dinner table eating pancakes. "Good morning Eddie." Carrie smiled.
"Morning." He smiled back, taking his usual spot at the table as he stuffed a pancake in his mouth. "Hey Bev."
"Hey loser." She waved. He flipped her off and Carrie rolled her eyes.
"I would tell you both to be nice to each other, but i'm learning that your way to show love is by being mean to each other." Carrie sighed, standing up and walking over to the sink to wash off her plate.
Beverly nodded with a small smirk forming on her lips. "You got that right mom."
Carrie laughed softly. "I'm always right Beverly, but I have something I want to talk to two of you about."
Eddie and Beverly both groaned as she sat back down at the table. "I swear if this is about how we always should use condoms during sex i'm going to-." Eddie started, but Carrie cut him off.
"It wasn't, but now that you mention it-."
"No." The two teens both said and there mom laughed before continuing what she was saying.
"I'll spare you the talk today I guess. Though, I really should talk to Eddie about this since he's hanging out with Richie." She smirked leaning back in her chair.
Eddie went wide eyed. "How did you know?!"
"She always knows." Beverly stated.
"Plus you two are way to close. You never stop touching each other." Carrie shrugged. "But, back to what I was actually going to say. I have just started seeing someone."
The two teens mouth's fell open. "WHAT?! WHO?!" Beverly exclaimed.
"James Criss. You might know him or not I don't know."
The two spit out their drinks. "Mom that's our best friends dad."
Eddie made a disgusted look. "Ew does that mean I would be Victors step brother if you guys get married." Beverly also looked disgusted.
"Well. We are going over there for dinner." Carrie smiled.
Eddie of course told Richie who just laughed. Dinner went well tho. James was a really nice guy and he was funny too. Victor looked a lot like him.
