The common myth goes that Hades, the God of the Underworld, saw Persephone and grew instantly in love with her. So he kidnaps the girl by having her slip beneath the Earth and into the Underworld, where Hades stole her and made her his wife. It goes on to say that she was unhappy, but after much time, she came to love Hades and live happily with him.
Now, what if the the myth was fabricated? All told by a mischievous girl with an "old soul" in the 1057 B.C, Greece?
