IN HER GARDEN, SHE HELD a woven basket in hand and started to pick at the ripe fruit in front of her. Small colors of blue and red peeked from the basket, as she made her way towards the trees.

With her hand glowing in gold, the roots of the trees grew to life, as one root held onto the basket, while Perse stood on the other. It let her go up to the apples and apricots, where she picked.

Suddenly, a bright fox came out of her home, and as fast toward her. It sprang as quick as its legs can carry, moved up to the thick tree and right beside her; fantastic climbers foxes are.

Perse looked to see that the animal held a thing foiled metal in its mouth, that was vibrating. She placed her hand below its snout and the fox let it go, leaving immediately afterward.

Wiping the little saliva off, she opens her flip phone and answers, "Hey, Phas."

"Perse, have you seen what was on TV?" Phastos tells.

Phastos was a part of the Eternals, like her. They were close, as close as a brother and sister friendship can be. He was one of the select few Eternals that she visited, outside of her home.

"I have no TV, remember? The only electronic I have is this, due to your request."

"That's doesn't matter. On TV, the news caught Ikaris. I-I think something's wrong."

The woman's brows burrowed. "You don't think it's Deviants... right? We killed them all."

"I don't know, but prepare yourself. Ikaris didn't come in and show off his powers for nothing."

"Okay, I'll be on the lookout," Perse says, "Thanks, Phas——"

"Aunt Pearl!"

She laughed when hearing a small voice pipe up from the other line. Her favorite little human, a sweet boy — Jack, Phasto's son.

"Hey, Jack. What's happening?" She lightens her voice.

"I saw that man, on the TV. He was so cool, I think that was Super-Man! He shot laser beams out of his eyes, he can fly, and was really strong," The kid explained, so excited about Ikaris.

"Dang, I really missed him, on screen, huh? Well, glad your happy 'Super-Man' came to save the day."

"And then, did you feel that earthquake? I was so scared," Jack continues.

"Yeah, that earthquake scared me to death. I was so worried about what would happen to you. All my animals were scared too."
