"NO!" SHOUTS PERSE.

IKARIS TRIES to shoot Makkari, but had hit Kingo, who jumped in front of the girl. Makkari runs to Kingo, who shouts, "Get out of here!"

Ikaris didn't even try to stop the girl, she was out of the room with a blink.
Druig held onto Perse to not get into a fight, but she was seething in anger, from Ikaris hurting Kingo and trying to kill Makkari.

"Kingo," Ikaris calls.

The man slowly stands up and had his balls of gold energy ready and aimed at his friend. "You do not turn against your family," Kingo roars, "Gilgamesh died because of you."

"You won't succeed against me." He turns to Perse. "And I will kill every one of you if I have to."

The woman's heart had beat out of her own chest. If she faced him, she'd most likely die trying. If anyone got in his way, they'd be asking for trouble.

Before Ikaris could leave, someone shouted, "Wait!" It was Sprite. "I'm going with you."

"Sprite," Sersi cried, but it was too late.

As Thena walked into the room, Sprite set an illusion to blind them, and they were gone. Makkari had come back, feeling the vibrations of them leaving the ship.

Perse just stared.
She couldn't believe Ikaris, she couldn't believe Sprite.
Those were supposed to be her family, her brother and sister...

"Why did Sprite go with Ikaris?" sighed Makkari.

"Because she loves him," Kingo states, "Oh, you guys didn't pick up on that? He really fooled us, didn't he? Karun, let's go."

Perse snapped her head up. "Where the hell do you think you're going?"

"I can't help you guys," He admits, "I still think Ikaris is right."

"So, that's it, huh? Just gonna follow him?" Phastos questions.

"I love the people of this planet. But if you stop this emergence, you are preventing so many other worlds like this one from being created. I still have faith in Arishem. But I refuse to hurt any of you for my beliefs."

Before Kingo could walk out, Perse slipped through Druig's hold and turned the man toward her. "Don't do this, we need you, Kingo."

Seeing the woman in front of him, it reminded him of the last time they had talked, their fight that made them end things. She pleaded for him to change, to stop being so arrogant, but he didn't...

Kingo gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Even with my help, we're no match. It's Ikaris." Before he could leave, he turns to all of them. "I hope to see you on the next planet."
