Sapnap's POV:

It's Valentines Day. I prepared everything. I was planning for this day since Christmas. He was going to love this. It was a candle lit dinner with pretty purple alliums (his favourite flower). After we eat, I had a movie planned. Teddy bears and plushies scattered over the couch.

We lived with each other so it was hard to keep this whole thing a secret. But I did it. He doesn't even know I was doing something for Valentines.

I set up this plates and stepped back. It looked so romantic. I looked up the stairs. There he was. walking down the stairs was my favourite person. Karl. Flowing brown hair, soft hazel eyes, and a caring smile. He was mystical, so perfect you'd think he wasn't even real.

"Hey Karl."

"Hey." He said with a cheery smile. "What's all this?"

"Happy Valentines Day! I thought since it was our three year anniversary this year, I'd do something extra special."

Karl sighed. His face twisted into something unhappy which wasn't normal. He was frowning with a slight glistening in his eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"You really need to get over me Sap. This isn't healthy."

"What? What do you mean Karl? Get over you?"

"I've been dead for months. Let me rest in peace please. God Sapnap. Having me as an imaginary friend is unhealthy. Go explore, see the world, date someone else. Just please forget about me. I'm not real. Not anymore."

I sighed. I blinked anyway my tears. "But Karl I-" Then he was gone. Disappeared into nothing. He was joking. Maybe he was hiding in one of the rooms. I looked around everywhere, but still somehow not being able to find him. That's fine. I'll just wait for him. He must have went out. He liked to do that sometimes. So I'll just wait. Wait until he comes back. Because I know he will.
