(Vampire AU) (SBI Fam)

???'s POV:

I hate this century. With their little doors and locks, cameras and security systems... It just makes my job a hell of a lot harder.

Lucky for me, it turns out you can't see vampires on virtual cameras. Though, somehow, you could still see them on polaroid cameras.

I went up to a thick oak door. I could easily rip it off of its hinges, but I personally didn't like leaving evidence behind. The body was enough.

So, instead, I took out a lock pick. I have gotten good at picking locks recently. I had a lot of odd skills I've taught myself over the many years I've been alive, and there's a thousand more I plan on learning. I mean, I did have all of eternity.

The door eventually creaked open. The room was dark. My guess was that it was a 'living room' I had stepped into, even though no one lived inside of it. I stepped in quietly and closed the door behind me.

The house was quiet.

Everyone was asleep.

I planned on taking out the eldest and strongest human first.

I had been watching this home from afar for days. It was a family of three.

A father and two sons.

I breathed in and licked my lips, my sharp teeth grazing them. I could only imagine how the young blood tasted.

I walked down a hallway and into the first door.

There laid the father.

Blond hair askew and low snoring echoed throughout the small room. He was still and peaceful. Very soon, he was to stay like that forever.

I walked up to his bed and leaned over his body. He smelt of AB blood. Not my favourite blood type, but it'll do.

I grabbed him by his shoulders and he immediately yelped, his eyes wide and full of pure terror. He struggled to get out of my tight grip, but I overpowered him easily.

"Who are you? Why are you in my house?" He suddenly froze. "Did you hurt my boys..?"

"No.. not as of yet..."

Anger spread across the meek human's face.

"You will not hurt my sons."

I flashed my keen teeth at him, his face paling.

"We'll see, father-dearest."

He began to struggle once more. I grabbed him by his neck, putting pressure onto it. He gasped, trying to pry my strong hands off of his throat. I pulled him into a sitting position by his nape and then attached. My teeth easily sink into his soft, plush skin. He let out a strained scream.

The children surely have woken up.

I scowled. Maybe I should've killed the offspring first.
