The 3 Words

AMYS POV
It was probably one of our biggest games yet. We were playing agains the sharks, there a really rough and fast team. I knew it was gonna be hard but i had faith in us ducks, I had my hockey gear all ready, Adams dad dropped us of to practice before the game.
Adam beeped when he was outside I got into the car and adam gave me a kiss. His dad congratulated me and him on being officially. We made it to the ice stadium and we walked in, there was already people outside waiting to get in. "Looks like its gonna be a big game" Said adam. "Yup" i replied. He told me not to be nervous and that i was gonna be great either way.
We walked into the changing rooms, Connie guy averman and charlie were already there. We all talked and laughed for a while. Averman walked into the shower room instead of the bathroom and slipped. It was so funny, averman was always falling, especially on the ice. He is just like this clumsy little leprechaun. Charlie and i start making jokes about him falling, averman doesn't mind, he is able to take a joke. Soon the rest of the guys came in with coach. We went outside onto the ice, "Okay team, i hope you see there are alot of people out there, the sharks are a great team and they are hard to beat, im sure we will win once we try our best" said coach as he paced up and down the ice.
The stadium was filled with people. "Okay ducks are we ready!" said charlie, charlie was captin of the ducks. "Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack" we chanted, we do it before every game. The first duck on the face of was guy, Guy was good at face-of but when the whistle blew Guy went smack bang on the ground. Coach was right these guys are good. I paced up the speed and chased after player number 16 on the sharks, i manged to get the puck, i have averman, connie and charlie all around me to block the sharks. I tricked the goalie to make it seem like i shot left, but i shot right and GOALLLL. I scored the first goal of the match, all the team came over and hugged me. I could hear a familiar song in the crowd, Stand by me to be exact. I looked around and i was in absolute shock. I had spotted Tori, Gordie, Chris, Teddy and vern! they were all there singing stand by me to cheer me on. I was so happy to see all of them, Including chris, me and him decided to be friends. This made me wanna play even harder.
The scores carried on being tied, Coach told us to try extra hard, we were tied with 4-4, I got a goal, connie did and adam got too.
Wow oh Wow, The ducks played like we never seen before, We tried harder then we ever did! We were on a roll it was great. Charlie scored a goal, and so did fulton, with the help of me, adam and jessse. The crowd was going wild for the ducks. Then me and adam got the puk, we passed it back and forth to eachother to try and trick the sharks. I got it in again, another goal for the ducks! There was only 3 minutes left till half time, we couldn't loose now, we were on a roll. Even tho we all got bashed, we still played amazingly against those sharks.
The timer went of and the intercom announced half time. I immediately went over to tori and the boys. We all hugged so tightly, even chris. It felt good not fighting with chris anymore. I was so shocked that they snook over to minnesota just to see me play! I was so so happy to see them, even though it wasn't for long, "Guys i cant believe you suprised me" i said given them an even tighter hug. It put me in such a happy mood seeing their smiles for the first time in 4 months, the gang was reunited.
im the second half, the sharks scored another 3 goals, this made us eager and determined. We got to more goals and guess what..... WE WON THE DUCKS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!  We all were so happy in the centre of the ice ad the crowd quacked and cheered for us, this was one of the hardest matches ever and we went and smashed it. I was so proud of us. We all hugged eachother and congratulated eachother on how well we all played. Adam skated over to me and took of his face shield and gloves. We hugged so tight until he let go. "I love you" he said with a bit smile on his face. My heart warmed up, i couldn't believe this. "I love you too" i said and then we kissed.
ADAMS POV
I built the confidence to tell amy the three words. I love you, she said it back. I couldn't be happier. She is my lover girl.
