I awoke to my alarm blaring. I quickly launched out of bed tripping over my dogs and my blankets. I smacked my head on my cellphone as I crashed to the floor. I looked at my phone it read 4:30am. Shit I was going to be late if I don't get up.

I quickly got dressed grabbing my uniform for work. I flung on my apron over my uniform. I grabbed my phone again and ran to find my keys. My house was pretty small and in a small urban city full of farmers and hard workers. I finally found them under the couch. Stupid cats I mumbled. My dog howled in agreement at my comment. I gave him a pet and my other dog a good rub. I started walking for the door telling my fur babies I would be back soon.

I hoped in my car and drove fast to work. I arrived right on time. Thank God. I mumbled.

I worked at a coffee shop. I had a decent job here and I worked really hard. I was a manager and had a lot of pressure on my plate.

I was about 1 hour in and I noticed none of my baristas came in. I have 5 scheduled today. I checked my phone to see messages from my baristas saying that they cannot come in today due to a death in the community that they all were suffering from.

I replied back letting them know that I would just cover for them today. I tried to find replacements but everyone else was having the same situition and I couldnt tell them off becuase of it. I was in some serious crap we were a very very busy coffee shop and I needed more staff than myself.

I pushed thru the day and getting exhausted. Customers were very understanding and nice but it just made me mad as hell that I couldn't push the drinks out fast enough.

I was about to close the shop when a car pulled up to the shop. It was 10pm. I normally close at 10. I just said fuck it and left the door unlocked. 6 super freaking hot muscular guys came in. My mouth almost dropped to the floor at how hot they were. They made there way to my counter. I slowly walked over and asked them how there night was and what I could get them.

All of them ordered black coffee and a bagel sandwhich. I quickly poured the coffee but the pot wasnt full enough and I only had enough for 5 cups. Fuck i cursed.

A man cleared his throat behind her. I looked at him.

I am so sorry I have to brew a new pot of coffee for you. Do you mind waiting a couple minutes. I asked hoping he wouldnt be mad.

No darling, that is fine we can wait. I will let the other guys enjoy there coffee. Atleast tell me you got enough sandwhiches we are really hungry. He stated with a really sweet smile. He has such a smooth deep voice.

I blushed at him and gave him the coffee's and sandwhiches.

Thanks for your patience. I stated.

He walked away with the coffee and food to the group now sitting in a booth. i quickly brewed the coffee and poured in in the cup for him. I poured the rest of the coffee in a hot pot for them to hopefully drink up since I made it.

I walked fastly over to there table not noticing that a previous customer had spelt coffee on the floor. I started to slip but strong hands grabbed me stopping me mid air from falling on the floor hard. I looked up to see the man with the smooth voice standing next to me. I held me and held the coffee in the other hand.

Had he caught the coffee as well. I just smiled in and gave deep breathe in and out of relief. When I breathed in I smelled something very strong and good smelling. It smelt like the ocean and a pine forest.

He gently stood me up and I placed the hot pot down in front of the other men. When the man let go of me. I felt a warmth leave my body. Like my body wanted his touch back. I shoved the thought out of my head. The man slowly sat down not taking his eyes off of me.

Sorry bout that guys. Thank you umm sir? I asked/ said looking really embarrassed.

Dean Stark, and you are he asked me.

 Regina Rain. I told him.

Well Ms. Rain. It is no problem I saw you are by yourself. No need to apologize how long have you been here tonight? He asked looking at me.

Try all day. I remarked back.

All day, where are the rest of your staff? He asked with a shocked look.

There was a town death that all of my baristas knew so none of them came in. I cant be to mad about someone dying. I said with a small smile.

Are we in your way at all tonight? The gentleman sitting next to Dean asked.

No not at all. As long as you don't mind me cleaning up. Your not in my way at all. I enjoy the company. Not really a close alone kind of gal. I said with a laugh.

The all gave me a really big smile and some even chuckled. I walked away and started cleaning up the store and setting my staff up for the next day. Most of them reassured me that they would be in tomorrow so that I wouldn't have to.
