I had landed in Scotland a week ago. I spent my first days in Scotland messing around and being a tourist. The land was beautiful and breathtaking. After a while I decided to head to my new house. I planned to take as much time as I could away as I needed.

I arrived at my new home. It was very majestic. A small cabin tucked into the forest near a babbling spring. The place had moss and tall trees all around the area. A small stone path lead to the front of the house. I slowly walked up the house with one of my bags. I took in the landscape in awe and wonder. Maybe this is exactly what I need I thought to myself.

I entered the cozy cabin. It was pretty modern looking. It had dark brown wood accents with a little white here and there. The house was a one story house with a cellar. I walked around the house to see everything and get acquainted. There was a nice sized kitchen with a table with barstools. The living room was furbished with leather couches and a fireplace. The bathroom was large and had a tub and a shower separate from each other. Very nice I said to myself. I walked to the back of the house where my bedroom was going to be and I opened it to see a spacious bedroom with a king sized bed. Plenty of room for my 5'1" figure. I laughed as I lunged my  body onto the bed and laid on it sideways. My feet didn't dangle off of the bed. I laughed again at my shortness. I sat up and looked around. There were doors that I assumed would be a closet so I walked over to it and threw it open. Trying to have my princess moment. When I opened it there was so much room. It was enough room to turn it into a women cave. Beautiful and breathtaking.

I laughed as I thought my bed could definitely fit in this room. Then I had a flash back to my childhood. My rooms were always smallish growing up so I always found ways to get the best space figured out. When I was 10 I put my bed in my closet so I had more room to dance in and play around. Then again when I was 16 I had my parents remove my bed and got a giant 8 foot bean bag for my bed. They were so confused at my odd request. At first the bean bag sat in the middle of the room but I had decided that It was taking up to much room so I put it in my closet. I slept on that bean bag for a while in the closet. Of course it was a little annoying getting up and trying to climb out of my closet with my clothes hitting my face. Oh what good times.

I felt a tear roll down my face. Enough of that. I said flicking the tear away. I still have stuff to unload. I went back outside to my rented car and pulled out the rest of my stuff and began putting it inside. It took me a little over 2 hours to unpack everything and then put it all away in the places I wanted it to go.

Once I was finished I walked into the living room and tried to start the fireplace. It wasn't on of those automatic ones. I actually had to get the fire going with wood. After 19 tries I finally succeeded.

I sat down on the couch and pulled out my laptop. There was Wi-Fi but not enough to really stream anything. I opened up google to at least make sure I could use that and to my surprise it worked. Then I opened up my book I was typing. Might as well get something done while I am here.

I had been typing for forever when I noticed the sun was setting. I went onto the back porch to watch it set. There was an old rocking chair outside so I gently sat on it and watched the colors of the sky dance around. I must have been pretty tired because the next thing I know I was fast asleep in the old rocker.

I awoke in the middle of the night. I was still outside and the air was chilly. I looked around at the scenery. The moon was full and shining brightly exposing the earth to its beautiful light. I slowly stood up wrapping a blanket from the chair around my shoulders. I went to the wrapped decks fence and leaned against it. I looked at the moon in awe.

I felt the wind pick up and a gust pushed my body and blanket forward. I wrapped the blanket tighter and looked out on the small spring of water still rushing away down its blanket of rocks. As I watched the water run I spotted movement in the forest. I watched the black shadow walk into the light of the moon and drink from the spring. It was a wolf a large one at that. Its coat was shining under the moons light the blackness almost looking blue. As the wind pushed past me again I saw the wolf sniff the air and then turn to look at me. Our eyes meet, It felt as if I had meet this wolf before. Of course this was impossible. How could I have.

The wolf was still starring when it must have heard something before it darted back towards the clearing and out of view. I sighed wishing it would have stayed longer. I turned around and walked back inside the house. Closing the screen door behind me. I threw a couple more logs on the fire and laid down on one of the couches. As I was about to fall asleep I heard a wolf's howl. Then more wolves joined in. With that I drifted back off to sleep to there lullaby of howls.
