Deans POV

It felt like eternity since I had last saw my mate. I went to that coffee shop the next day only to hear baristas talking about what had happened. My poor mates family had been killed in a car accident. Trying to get ahold of her was impossible because she hadn't given me her number and the other baristas didn't want to give it out.

I looked for her for over a month before I had to head home to my pack. We flew home and my wolf and I were so angry. We should have just kidnapped her the same night we meet. Of course we could not foresee what the fates had in store for her and her family. I did feel pretty bad about that. I mean it must have been pretty rough on her. When I got back into pack lands it was late at night. We were going down the road when one of our tires blew. I hopped out to take a look and make sure we weren't under attack. We weren't it was just some debris on the road.

I looked around and recognized the land easily it was maybe a 30 minute run with my wolf to my pack house. We were already in pack land so I knew it was pretty safe. So I told my crew that I wanted to run. A couple of them joined me. We quickly shifted into our wolves and started to run. I slowed down and went to see my most precious place in the world. It was near an old cabin that a friend of mine owned. He was human but a friend to us wolves. I stopped to grab a sip of water before continuing on. I planned to go see my friend tomorrow to let him know I am back in town. Before I finished drinking the wind had picked up carrying a very familiar smell of coffee and moss. My wolf instantly knew it was my mate. But how, how could she be in Scotland. My head snapped up to my friends cabin to see my beautiful mate standing there looking at me with a blanket snuggly wrapped around her shoulder.

I wanted to run and touch her. I knew she would be frightened and that's the last thing I wanted for her. For now I was happy I knew where my mate was. I knew I would be seeing her again tomorrow.

I heard some of my friends finally catching up. So I quickly turned and ran back into the clearing. I let out a howl to my pack to protect the girl in the cabin at all costs. They all responded yes Alpha. We finished running back to our pack. I stood next to the gates while the guards threw me clothing and I shifted. They opened the gate and my father walked out to greet me with my mother in tow.

My son, welcome home. I take it you took care of the problems we had in the us towns of werewolves. He asked firmly.

Yes Father. I took care of the rogues and we left as soon as we could. I said with a smile of victory.

My prince, did you happen to find your mate yet. My mother asked me with hope in her eyes.

Yes, I did find my mate. I said proudly.

My mother gasped and asked me loudly where she was. I told her the story of what had happened how we meet and how she disappeared but how she was living here in Scotland in the cabin in the woods.

She gasped again and told me that my friend Michael had recently moved closer to the pack and had asked permission to sell it and we had told him yes. Your mate must have boughten the house. Oh my what luck she said with a big smile.

I smiled. Don't worry mother you will meet her soon. Just not yet. First I think I need to speak with her. I also think she needs a friend and healing time from what has already happened. I need to respect that for her.

I meet with my pack and told them the great news of my mate. They cheered loudly. For I was there future king of the werewolves and she was my future queen.
