summary: The Avengers decide to go on a group vacation to celebrate the beginning of summer. Tony books one house for them all to share, and makes everyone double up. Tony and Pepper in the master, Thor and Bruce in one, Nat and Clint in one, Steve and Bucky in one, Wanda and Vision in one, and that leaves Y/N and Loki to share one. A small heatwave then hits where they're staying in Hawaii, and Loki offers to be her own personal ice cube until it passes.

    Y/N zipped up her suitcase, hoisting it into the trunk of the rental van and climbing into her seat. She was one of the first ones in which meant she could take one of the double seats in the back. Everyone piled into the van, and Loki entered. He would either have to sit next to Thor, or you. Obviously he chose you.

He approached her seat and she smiled up at him, moving her legs so he could sit. He returned the smile and plopped down.

"Are you excited for Hawaii?" Y/N asked, breaking the comfortable silence. He looked up at her and smiled softly. "I am. Is it nice there?"

Y/N chuckled, "It's beautiful, but Tony said it'll be really hot down there this time."

They had to ride in the van for a few hours to the airport. Tony had spent so much on the villa he was having them travel by vehicle as close as possible. In Los Angeles. They would be in the van for only a few hours though, as they had flown to Phoenix from New York. The drive would take 6 hours, then another five on the plane to Honolulu. 

It was ten minutes into the drive and she was already bored. Until Loki started doing weird things with his magic and making random objects to get Y/N to laugh.

"And now...boom! A camel shaped like my oaf of a brother's huge forehead!"

Y/N laughed until she had tears in the corners of her eyes and laid her head on his shoulder for support. Loki giggled with her and Thor boomed from the front of the van. 

"I heard that you-!"

"Shh! Clint's asleep!" Natasha seethed. Thor mumbled and apology, narrowed his eyes in Loki's direction and then turned back to watching Bruce play on his nintendo switch. 

Y/N looked up at Loki and giggled quietly, her hand muffling them. He beamed down at her and made another strange combination of miniature animals. He wiggled his fingers until what looked like a hippo crossed with a turtle formed. She immediately started giggling, and Loki joined in before telling her who it was.

"This one is Bruce."

A puff of air exploded from her lips and she clamped her hand over her mouth, but it was too late. Loki leaned into her and they giggled together, earning a glare from Natasha. 

"Shhh, shh." He whispered, pointing at Nat. Y/N laughed softly, "Do one of her."

Loki grinned and wiggled his fingers again. A donkey mixed with a goat appeared in his hand and they giggled. "The donkey represents how much of an asshole she is--" Y/N laughed harder and laid her head on his shoulder, making him lose concentration for a moment.
