(Bowser) "Yeaa...this ain't ringing a bell."

Bowser looked at the mysterious tree that had emerged in the center of the town square. Not even for a second did he or his son look around to see the other toads cowering in fear at the sight of him.

(Mario) "You seriously don't know about this...? Can't you understand the writing on the bark?"

(Bowser) "No dip, I understand it! But I don't know why YOU think I'm causing this! I don't even know a Pure Vanilla or what a Celestial Guardian is!"

(Daisy) "Wow, he's pretty young."

(Mario) "...Alright. If what you're saying is true, we can at least...TRY and scratch you off the suspect list. But you're still at the #1 spot."

(Bowser) "Bet that's just your list of people you wanna smite off the Earth."

(Captain Toad) "So, if Bowser's not the culprit...who is?"

A small ambiance of silence ran through the square as the heroes pondered their options. But...there was nothing that rang a bell. Even when someone would raise their hand to speak, they'd immediately put it down, granting their thought useless. That is...until Rosalina spoke up.

(Rosalina) "Excuse me? I think I know someone who can help us."

(Luigi) "Huh? Who is it?"

-

After a bit of time to gather their things and thoughts, carve out the message inscripted in the tree, and dismiss Bowser and his son, Mario and his group of teammates were following Rosalina down a trail through a set of crystal trees and cobblestone paths. This eventually led them to their destination. A fancy, quaint little kingdom with blue flamed torches, owl-human hybrid townsfolk, and a large clock tower in the middle of the town with a large torch in the center, lit with the same blue flames the rest of the kingdom had. It felt so...majestic. Mysterious, even.

(Yoshi) "Yoooshiii! (Wooow! This place looks so amazing!)"

(Rosalina) "This was my old home. The Wizard Kingdom. It's just as nice as I remember it to be...Luma? Can you find dad for me?"

(Mario) "Dad?"

No response. Luma only beamed in delight, and flew over through the crowd of lively owl people and humans in wizard and witch-wear. The heroes took this as a chance to follow the star as it flew along happily. And soon, they were right in front of a tall tavern-like building with a sign on the front, which only had a detective's badge labeled on it. Outside of the building, a tall, older man with grey-brown and blonde hair done in an almond side swept, and with a brown dress coat hoisted on his shoulders was standing near a phone booth, documenting notes down on a small notepad.

(Rosalina) "Dad!"

(???) "Rosalina?"

The man suddenly looked up, looking over as Rosalina separated from the group to go hug her supposed father. He corresponded, wrapping his arms around her in a parental embrace.

(???) "It's been a while since I've seen you...You've grown up so much...You look just like your mother..."

(Rosalina) "Haha...! Thank you, dad..."

(Luigi) "Wait, Rosalina, this is your dad??"

(???) "Hm...these are the ones who you referenced in your letters?"
