- lucky, lucky girl

SEUNG GI-HUN traced over the scars that left lethal marks along her delicate skin. The whisked heat that filled up in the lift brused his cheeks once he leaned up against the wall.

Whispers from the man across him echoed around the room. The sweat dripped from his tear stained face, creating small crevices within his cheeks.

244 was always told that it was better to believe in something then believe in nothing. And truely he lived by that like it was his every aspect and meaning of living. He strived to be a golden child maybe more so then actually being able to have a childhood to remember. Still, every chance he gets to pray. To make sure that wherever he goes whoever's up there will see him.

But the problem with being in here is that, you're already digging yourself a hole to deep to climb up out of. Regardless if you pray or worship you watched people die and now have taken lives of others. Blood is still caught between the lifeline in your palms and they are to deep to be cleaned out.

"Hey. Who are you praying to right now? To God? Do you think you're alive right now thanks to God? You're still breathing and moving that tongue of yours thanks to the old man. And that guy over there who pulled that awesome trick last-minute. So if you're going to thank anyone, thank them."

244 looked at Ji-yeong with such rage, with despise to complain on about his simple artifice. "You poor lost lamb. Can't you here the cries of those who were nailed to the cross today? We lived another day thanks to their blood and sacrifice. On behalf of all us sinners, I am thanking the Lord for his decision and their sacrifice, and saying a prayer." His eyes dawned each and every person in that room. Wishing his words hit them harder in the face like a bullet to the brain, but sadly that was not the case.

"Bullshit. You killed them yourself. So we all get to go to heaven if we mumble a few prayers? Shit, then I have to pray too. Heavenly father, we worked together as a team today to send many people to your side. Please help us send more people to your side for now on--"

"Be quiet." Sae-byeok held her head back against the lift. Her throat bobbed slightly as she breahted out from her nose. "Me? Or that guy?" The Kang girl took a deep breath, keeping her gaze onto the wall across her as she spoke blankly. "Both of you."

Maybe at this time Yun Ryung would react the same as Ji-yeong but in this case she was knocked out on the floor with her head leaning against the legs of Sae-byeok. "Dumbass, it's time to wake up." Sae-byeok jerked her leg. Effectively waking the girl from her tired state. "I told you if I fall asleep don't wake me up and this happens." Ryung shakes her head tiredly. Hitting Sae-byeok's shins as she stands up. Her reaction quick as she runs to the side of Ji-yeong who lightly chuckles at their childish banter.

"What's your name?" Ryung's ears quirked at the question. Her mouth slightly agape in ready to answer. "Why do you want to know?" Kang Sae-byeok gave the shorter girls a sharp stare. Her feet dragged along with her lanky body as she followed the people in front of her. "She wasn't asking only you, there's two fo us here. You Leo." Kang Sae-byeok was not in fact a Leo, but either way she just shrugged it off lightly with a slight hit to the back of her head and a chuckle when she slapped her forearm in response.

"I want to know so I can call you using your name." Ryung smiled brightly at Ji-yeong holding out her hand, and still Kang Sae-byeok tucked her hand away and placed the girl in front of her keeping her forward. "Then don't call us then." Ji-yeong snickers at this. Smiling down when she notices the interlaced hands that still held locked between Ryung and the taller woman. "Playing hard to get?" Ryung slide a swift hand towards Ji-yeong, biting her lip when Sae-byeok slapped it away.

"Do me a favour. Leave us alone." Ji-yeong pushes her upper lip over, looking at her with a written frown. "You're the one who talked to me first."

Sae-byeok pushed Ryung further down the line, keeping a calculated distance away from the highlighted girl who walked behind them. "By the way my name is Yun Ryung and she's Kang—" Sae-byeok shot her hands over her mouth, flipping her body the right way around again.

"So cold."

Along the black walls and behind the screens stood the front man. Three files sat in front of him displaying three chosen names, handed by none other then the staff members that clocked his office like flies.

His hand delicately held the parchment on the right of him, his gloved fingers flipping through the stapled pages along the inside. "Is this the wild card?" His voice rung in his own ears once he spoke. Filling his mask from corner to corner. "Yes sir, would you like to pick another one?" The staff asked him warily. Hands folded in front of him.

"No, one will do. Scan over them over the course of the next few days. Make sure they're healthy or else we will have to pick another."

"Cards complete," The square man scanned the file, handing it into the rest of the black boxes.

The front man looked out at the screens. The drink in his hands swirled in the cup back and fourth.

"Lucky, lucky girl."
