Chapter 4: Are you sure you're okay?
After all that climbing, feeling tired they layed on the grass for a while... In silence. "Um... Dude?" Kuki says a bit shyly. "Yes?" Syd responds. "Are you okay?" Kuki asks. "What?" Syd responds a bit confused. "I mean like are you okay? After what happ-" Kuki says before she's cutoff by Syd "I mean I feel fine... I don't feel hur-" Syd says but is also cut off "No, I mean are you okay? Like... Mentally? You seem different for some reason..." Kuki says putting her hand on Syd's. "Oh..." Syd responds weirdly looking down at her hands, "I don't know, I don't really feel anything..." Syd continues her response while also moving her hand away from Kuki's, Syd turned her head away from Kuki. Kuki thought it was weird, why did she move her hand? Maybe she's not in the mood, maybe somethings wrong but shes not saying anything?... "Dude?" Kuki says sounding a bit concerned "are you sure you're okay?" She says. Syd turns around confused at the sudden question. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" Kuki says in a comforting way. "Yeah don't worry about it okay, I'm fine." Syd responds sounding a bit annoyed. Kuki took notice and said "I think I'll get going now" she said sounding disappointed... As she was walking no speeding away feeling embarrassed, Syd stood up and chased after her, when Kuki realized she stopped. "Wait!" Syd yelled after her and out of breath. "Huh?" Kuki turns around confused, "Can you walk me home?" Syd asks.
