Chapter 9: Hey, I Have An Idea
After they were done eating the girls went back upstairs and into Syd's room. "Hey, do you have you're laptop?" Kuki asks.
Syd looks up raising an eyebrow. "Did you bring it with you? You know for the weekend... " Kuki says raising her eyebrows.  "Uh-y-um... I'm pretty sure I did... " Syd starts looking around the room, she spots a backpack hanging from the door, she slightly smirks. "Let me check. " she says standing up and walking towards the door. Syd brings down the bag from the door, she walks back to bed and sits down. Syd opens the backpack and looks inside, unable to find much she reaches in and starts taking out some of the clothes in the backpack and throwing them down on the bed.
Syd flips the backpack upside down and starts dumping out the stuff in there. "Oh there! " Kuki says pointing at Syd's laptop. Kuki picks up the laptop. "Oh that?" Syd says confused. "I mean- uh yeah there it is... " Syd says.  "I knew I brought it" Syd awkwardly chuckles.
Kuki opens the laptop, she looks over at Syd then she tries something. "Hey, whats your password? I forgot. " She asks chuckling. "Um... I- uh it's-" Syd can't continue her sentence. Kuki takes notice, she smirks slightly staring at Syd, Syd goes silent staring back.
Kuki looks down at the laptop and starts typing something down "oh look there!" Kuki exclaims. "Wh-what... " Syd looks at her confused. "I figured it out! " Kuki says. "Well technically not "figured out" since I technically didn't I already knew... I just forgot. " Kuki says. "You know what I mean! " she tells covering her face. "Yeah... " Syd says nodding. Kuki sits up "you know what- whatever" she backs down. "Here, look" Kuki says schooling to the side patting on the empty space next to her, motioning for Syd to sit there. Syd stares for a moment, she moves closer and sits beside her. Kuki places the laptop on her lap so Syd is able to see, Kuki opens Google. "What are you doing? " Syd asks."I'm gonna try and see what we could find about that train or subway thing" Kuki responds.
"Oh, the train. " Syd says. "How are you gonna figure out anything with that?" Syd asks pointing at the laptop screen. "Google knows everything. " Kuki responds shrugging. "Oh okay... " Syd responds sounding confused. "Okay, what should I search? " Kuki asks. "Um, I don't know. " Syd responds looking at her. "What do you think? " Syd asks. Kuki turns to her, she turns away looking back at the laptop. Kuki states at the search bar, then the keyboard. Kuki sighs "I'll search up the town name then subways or something" She says. Syd stares at the laptop practically entranced by Kuki typing. "No Results" the laptop reads. "What was that supposed to do? " Syd asks. "Huh, maybe I searched the wrong thing. " Kuki says confused. "I'll try train. " Kuki says. "Hey look! " Kuki sits up at the result. "Woah." Syd says as if she's never seen anything like that before. "Aw, crap never mind. " Kuki slouches. "What? " Syd asks turning to her. Kuki points at the screen  "That's not what we're looking for. " Kuki whines. "That's our current town train, not the one we found. " Kuki says. "Oh... " Syd responds. "Wait, so if I search anything there, it'll tell me? " Syd asks. "Yeah... " Kuki responds confused at the question. "I mean! Uh- sorry... Um try... " Syd starts to think to herself. "You know what!" Kuki says out, Syd turns to her confused "I'll try underground train station. " Kuki starts typing, Syd watches her do so again. Kuki clicks enter "No Results" the laptop reads. "Damn." Kuki leans back. "I thought that one would work. " she says. "Hey, I have an idea. " Syd says. "Oh?" Kuki sits up. "What is it? " she asks smirking. "What if... " Syd says nodding. Kuki raises an eyebrow. "We go back? " Syd continues. Kuki's face drops. "What?! " she yells. Syd puts her hands over Kuki's mouth. "Look just listen" she says. Syd moves her hands off of Kuki's mouth. "What's there to listen to? " she whispers loudly. "We almost died there bro! " she says. "Okay but-" Syd gets cut off. "But what?!" Kuki asks. "What if there's something important there!" Syd suggests. Kuki raises an eyebrow. "That doesn't matter. It's still dangerous I don't want you to get hurt. " Kuki says putting her hand on her head. "What if there's useful information there though? " Syd argues. "What if there's a name or something like that! " she says. "You know what, Fine. " Kuki says. "But!" Syd looks at her. "If we don't find anything we're leaving immediately." She says. "Fine." Syd says. "And we won't go back after that" Kuki says. "Okay... " Syd responds.
