Been super obsessed with Okuyasu lately so...

"What do you mean you lost the house?!" You stand up, slamming your hands on the table.

Your father rubs the back of his neck meekly "I got too cocky and bet our house.."

You wanted to cry but you were far too angry.

"And where are we supposed to live, huh?" You run your fingers through your hair in frustration "I can't believe this is happening, I knew you had a gambling problem, but this?!" You began pacing around the kitchen.

You father lets out a sigh "I'm sorry (Y/N), I really am, I didn't mean for it to get this out of hand"

"Oh this is beyond out of hand!" You snap at him.

"Look, I already talked to your grandparents and they're allowing us to stay with them for awhile"

You stopped your pacing and sat down in your seat once more.

"I can't leave Morioh dad, not now, or ever for that matter" you wipe the tears that were beginning to stream down your face "I'm about to graduate, and all of my friends are here, I can't leave"

Your dad reaches out and places his hand on yours "you're right, I fucked up but I shouldn't bring you down with me" he squeezes your hand "how about you see if one of your friends will let you stay with them"

You look up to face him "really?"

"You're an adult now and like you said, you're graduating in a few months so taking you away now would be counterproductive"

You sniffle slightly before allowing a small smile to cross your face "thanks dad"

The first person that came to mind was your best friend Yukako but the more you thought about it, the more you realized that she didn't have space for you. The only friend you could think of that had extra space was Okuyasu.

The thought of living with your secret crush made you blush but you knew it was the only option. Of course your dad was a little wary about you living with a boy but after meeting with him and his dad, he seemed put at ease.

That weekend you and your father packed up your possessions and said your final goodbyes to your childhood home. Your dad drops you off at the Nijimura house and gives you a big hug before leaving for his parents.

You fought back tears as you watched your father drive off, this would be the first time you've been away from him.

"Hey roomie, need some help?" Okuyasus smile instantly made you feel better.

"Yes please" you chuckle to yourself.

You were glad that you had moved your furniture the day prior, leaving you only to carry up some boxes and your personal bags.

Your new room was rather large, with a huge bay window right next to your bed.

"I'm sorry it's not much-"

You sit on your bed "You kidding? It's perfect"

He gives you a soft smile "w-well you can paint it too if you want!"
