Ghiaccio x Fem Reader (fluff) Original book story

"Are you ready?" Ghiaccio held out his hand towards you, beckoning you to join him on the ice.

"I think so, but please dont let go"

you nervously stepped one ice skate onto the freshly frozen lake and fell into Ghiaccios arms "there you go!" You chuckled as you tried to steady yourself on the slippery surface.

You and Ghiaccio have been dating for a few years now. He asked you out shortly after you joined La Squadra and the two of you have been inseparable since.  This weekend was a rare occurrence, the two of you were finally able to take some time off, and Ghiaccio took advantage of that by taking you to a small cabin for the weekend.

You gathered up all your courage and attempted to stand on the ice "I got you, trust me" he gave you a goofy smile while he tightened his grip on your arms.

You finally regained your composure and he spared no time teaching you to properly ice skate.  After an hour, you were finally able to maneuver on your own. You took small strides as you looked on in amazement at Ghiaccio, he glided along the ice like it was nothing. His movements were graceful and fluent, it made your heart flutter to see him happy.  You felt his hands wrap around your waist as he guided you along into a small twirling motion, until you were facing him.

Now face to face, he connected his forehead to yours "I love you" he whispered out

"I love you too Ghiaccio".

He pulled away and gave you a smile "I have something for you" he started fiddling with his pockets "where the fu- ah! There it is!" He looked back at you before falling to one knee, presenting his gift, a ring.

"Will you marry me?"

You gasped, the ring was beautiful. A small snowflake shaped ring with a sapphire in the middle and diamonds surrounding it.

"Of course!" You practically jumped for joy, almost losing your balance.  He stood up and held you in a tight embrace before sliding the ring onto your finger

"lets go inside and warm up" you nodded and he helped you to the edge of the ice.

You felt a sense if relief as the warm air from the cabin hit you, you loved spending time with Ghiaccio in the cold, but you weren't used to it as much as he was.

"I'll make some hot chocolate" you started for the kitchen, retrieving two mugs from the cabinet as Ghiaccio started making a fire.

You added the finishing touches onto the drinks, whipped crème and marshmallows and joined him next to the glowing light of the fire.

"Here" you handed him his drink and he immediately took a sip

"you do know how to make a mean hot chocolate" he grinned and kissed your cheek.  You both nestled into each other, wrapped in a blanket, you were finally cozy in your lover's embrace. You eyed your engagement ring once more, you were officially going to be his.
