Anticipation

The pain was even worse this morning.

Well actually... the sun was rising when I went to sleep, and it looks like it just setting now, so... I suppose it would be more accurate to say 'the pain was even worse this evening.'

I sighed to myself, knowing there's no way for me to just heal my arm in a day... and on top of that, I don't have anything to keep the bone in place, so it probably won't heal properly, which is just greeeeeat.

I didn't even want to get out of bed.

Then, the door to the bedroom burst open.

"Alright Human, get out of bed."

"Nooooooooooooooo..." I moaned, using my not broken arm to pull the blanket over my face.

"What, do you want us both to starve?" I heard Katsuki start walking towards me as he asked that. Then, he pulled the blanket off of me.

He grabbed my hand, and pulled me out of bed.

"UGHHH fine... I guess I'll get up..." I said, defeated.

I stood up from the floor, and Katsuki grabbed my hand, leading me out of the bedroom.

We walked through a very long hallway, and down a set of stairs, walked through what I could only assume was a foyer, navigated a few rooms, and eventually we were in a large dining room.

"I know you Humans have to eat actual food, so..." he paused, and looked away from me. "I... tried my best to... make some... for you."

"Awe! How thoughtful of you~!" I mockingly said.

After I said that, I actually thought I saw him blush very slightly.

"S-SHUT UP!" Katsuki yelled at me as I laughed.

Looking annoyed, he walked off into another room.

After a few minutes, he came back with a plate, and put it down on the table.

"All I really had was some old meat buried in a barrel of salt, so I hope you aren't vegetarian." Katsuki said, sitting in the chair right beside me. "Now hurry up and eat your food so that I can eat mine."

I know what he's alluding to...

I'm... honestly kind of scared.

I think it'd be hard to not feel scared in this situation.

And on top of me being scared, there's also the fact that it's definitely not going to feel good.

To get my mind off of that, I just decided to eat the meat I was given.
